This is what people keep
I am far too nice to let you waste your money on a plastic waste of money! Please do yourself a favor and get a good quality aftermarket one :)
This is what people keep telling me and trust me, I hear you.

I want this particular *stock* wing for science, and to see if it produces any meaningful downforce as no one seems to have this information including Toyota (at least the part of Toyota I have access to… TGR told me they don’t know because this isn’t their department).

I want the *stock* wing because, for example, in SCCA TT Sport 2 (where our car lives before certain mods) you can add or remove a stock part or an exact replica of a stock part as long as there are 500 produced and there’s a trim level that comes with it in your country (45th A should meet that criteria) whereas if you put an aftermarket wing on you end up classing up to your potential disadvantage without more of a build.

This would be one of the few ways to add aero in such a class and I’d like to know if there’s any reason to do it, because anyone with a GR Supra could then do it, and any of us could potentially make said exact replica.

So I track my 45th. I'm still running the stock 45th wing and honestly, I can't tell whether or not it's doing anything. I have a quite a few suspension upgrades, along with a rear diffuser and I'm sure those additions are making more of a difference than the wing.

I don't think it does "nothing", but I don't think it has a significant impact on handling/downforce. However, while it may have a minimal impact, it does look nice and it's OEM with OEM fitment and finish.

I have a Type 7 Voltex wing incoming, so I'm changing mine out when that arrives.

I think you mean type 10 right? Incredibly jealous, been debating between adro, varis and the 10 ?

Nope -- the Type 7 has a significantly deeper/bigger air foil than the Type 10. The Type 10 seems to be the popular one among Supra owners, but I wanted the higher DF of the Type 7.

This is the Type 7 (Supra not pictured here, but it's the same wing)

Can have your 45th wing at that time if you’re changing your wing out?

I really like this wing. The 7 looks like it has more width between the uprights also which I personally like better.

As a 45th owner, I would love to see the results of this test. How do you plan to measure the downforce?

I would guess that the wind over and around the spoiler has some beneficial effect. Take a look at the C8 Corvette's Z51 option rear wing. Here's what is stated by GM about the Z51 package add-ons:

The front splitter is more aggressive. It’s designed to reduce lift and keep your Corvette glued to the tarmac during high-speed runs.

Next, there’s a rear spoiler that’s more than just a good-looking accessory. This wing adds downforce, which means better stability at higher speeds and even more grip when you’re carving corners like a Thanksgiving turkey.

These components aren’t just slapped on for show. They work together seamlessly, providing a balance that makes the C8 feel planted and confident. Whether you’re hitting a straightaway or navigating a twisty mountain road, the aerodynamic additions from the Z51 package really make a difference.

Marketing hype? Who knows, but the wing shown is not exactly a replica of that used on the McLaren Senna with over 800 HP.

Not a Corvette.

Bless your heart. I remember when I used to read marketing copy and think it was actually accurate.

if you're actually serious about finding out, i know an aero guy on ig/fb that does scans and simulations as his side gig.

Yeah man, that’s the plan... Find someone to do a CFD analysis on it if I can unless it’s like super expensive to have that done. From a practical standpoint I was going to measure the pressure differential and multiply by surface area kinda like GRM did in this article:
