The 1000w fan is found on road cars as well. M240i/M340i/M440i have it as their cooling package. All G-Series full M cars have it. Even the lowly 330e has it. I bought a used one off a 330e.
Ye I know, just typed GT4 coz was shorter :D
Did U log pre and post temps with fan if there is measurable benefit? I know Peter did some tests...

Interesting... maybe the US isn't getting it because we're getting our own edition or perhaps the A90 is only being phased out in AU/EU/JP?

Laughs in I told you so.

So can we publicly name and shame all the fuckwits who lied on here pretending they had insider information now?
The only person that wasn't on the S58 hype train was @PerformanceSound.

If any updates include major components like; motor, trans, driveline, etc... expect a huge bump in price...which Toyota is not wanting or needing in the current economy crisis. I mentioned this months ago, that the updates would be small changes here and there (aero, interior trim, wheels, brakes, suspension, etc...).

I don't understand why everyone is wetting their pants for an S58? The B58 is arguably BMW's best motor....dare I say, EVER!

Pretty comprehensive, as far as "last calls" go.

In comparison, Dodge has been charging $100K for a new shade of grey on the Durango. A level of uninspired lameness I have come to expect not only from Dodge, but from every automaker wrenching out the last few pennies of an aging platform.

I'm impressed Toyota actually went in and meaningfully improved power, handling, and braking.

I’m curious to know if the partially upgraded Supra is just the stock 3.0 - for context, in Australia we only get the 3.0, but it comes as a base model and as a premium model - with slight changes to rims, HUD and rims.

has anyone worked out where the partially upgraded version applies to both classes of the 3.0?

interestingly, toyota EU says it will be rolled out across NA, Australia and Europe.

it’s 4 am here and I can’t sleep because I’m so excited.

I'm impressed at how through the package is. Keep in mind this is a bigger deal for the european guys than us, it's much more difficult for them to have a lot of these mods that a lot of us have in North America due to road laws, so the Final Edition is a good compilation of a lot of the goodies in a pretty package and fully legal. I'm excited to see what kind of times it'll run on the ring with the proper tires now. On the EU SPEC release, the Final is 435HP using the B30O1 which is the 6port North America already gets, add a bit of tuning, intake and downpipe. The Lightweight EVO (partially upgraded) still uses the 340HP 2 port B30M1.

The Final Edition will be expensive, prepare yourselves, this is the main list of upgrades summarized, and that's a lot of expensive parts:
1. Recaro Podium CFs
2. Alcantara interior trims exclusive to this trim
3. ZTK M340i front brakes (MP Brakes corrected)
4. 20" forged wheel and cup 2s
5. KW V3/V3 Clubsport + Camber Plate
6. Carbon exterior bits
7. Akrapovic titanium exhaust
8. Half cage thingy
9. Additional cooling
10. Sway bars

Lightweight evo (partially upgraded)... I got not much to say other than wtf is that front bumper splat...

I'll be scouring for Final Edition parts when the sales begin

Didn't @A70TTR also said it was going to be B58 base? Anyways, iirc both of them more or less stated that the only minor changes were happened due to the fact that Toyota will be focusing the majority their resources on the next A100 Supra.

Sad to see it go as well, but the language here gives me hope that there will be a Mk. VI. Maybe even with less BMW and more Toyota, though I wouldn’t be mad if the B58 sticks around or it goes by the wayside for the S58.
They sent out feedback surveys last week asking what people would like to see in the next Supra, was was most disappointing, what they liked, what they didn't. Unless they're completely wasting their time with market research on owners (which is totally possible), I think it's safe to say MKVI is on the table right now.
No shot this was for the Final Edition™ as they wouldn't have time to implement anything.

Hopefully you guys said no to the rumored 4 banger hybrid stories that are circulating on the web lol.
