I'm not sure if this has been discussed but curious to know if anyone has any information about the auto start/stop (a.s.s.) There's a button right above the Sport button and I'm wondering if it's like bmw where it basically remembers your last setting so if you turn it off, it stays off going forward until you re-enable the function or does it always default to turning the a.s.s?

I saw in reviews as well as read in text, that the auto-start/stop has memory. (Thank God).

As for the sport button, I haven’t gotten clarification in that.....

I have seen these questions discussed in other threads, but the final answer was unclear.

1) Can the Auto Start/Stop feature be permanently disabled for comfort mode, or does the driver have to manually push the "Disable" button each time the car is officially started?

2) It sounds like Auto Start/Stop is turned off in "Sport" mode. Can "Sport" mode be set as the permanent default driving mode? Or does the driver have to manually push the "Sport" button each time the car is officially started?

Thank you in advance.

what is so hard about hitting the sport button when you drive? Who drives around in normal mode anyway?

It isn’t hard, but it would be nice to have sport be the default, especially since nobody drives around in normal mode....

I am guessing in time this will be an easy item to code. However, being at the beginning of a new products lifecycle has its drawbacks, this is one of them.

It is too bad that the car doesn't remember the last setting....

Not remembering the last setting is an intended design. This is because Sport+ disables stability control which makes it a liability to have it auto disabled on startup without the user explicitly acknowledging it. My 2013 F10 does the same thing and doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon

The Supra doesn’t have sport+ and putting it in Sport mode doesn’t disable the traction control....
