Haha, I know I am getting throttle closure based on the log (and how the car is behaving). I don't know how to figure out why. What do you mean look at the throttle plate? Forgive my stupid question. The car has 7k miles and I haven't ever messed with the throttle body. Do you think it is defective? My understanding was that the throttle normally only closes like this when boost is significantly over the target but that doesn't seem to be happening.
Nothing wrong with the throttle, it's just because of your downpipe. Car is overboosting and the throttle is preventing the excess from entering the cylinders.

It's still running your wastegate as if there is the stock dp restriction. So you need to reduce FF(feed forward) until throttle pretty much stays wide open during the pull. FF is basically tied to turbine speed.

Try it in the 35-40 range first. It saves per map, under settings-advanced-user adjustment.

So you need to be on the intended map, then save the new FF value.

You are the man! Thank you so much. That sounds right since I noticed similar behavior even on map 0 logs. (attached to this reply).

Yessir. A properly wastegate-dialed JB4 map is even smoother than map 0 with a dp.

I'll be away from my PC for a few days, so I'll have to catch up on reviews. But keep playing around with the FF setting. Drop until throttle is generally >90 during the pull. Read about duty bias in the first post after you have it somewhat sorted.

Car is happiest with ecu_psi being 1 psi below dme_bt across the whole range.

Thank you so much. I will report back with some new logs.

Definitely much better. Try updating to firmware V28 and do one more pull before we adjust anything further.

V28 has to be tuned differently than V27, so no point in doing it twice

When it gets really hot I’m going to do some pulls like @dAPEX did. That’s’ cool (pun intended) you were able to figure it out!

Map 1, 4th gear pull, V28, E30 (BP 93 octane + Casey's E85)

Map 2, 3rd gear pull, V28 (BP 93 octane + Casey's E85)

Still getting lots of throttle closures.

Map 1 looks pretty solid and only needs a few adjustments.

For Map 2, I would keep dropping the duties under 5k until you stop getting those throttle closures. Try in increments of 5.

Very interesting thread. I'm going to read through it even if it seems a little more informative for the MT! This is my late October run with only the jb4 and catless dp. 100-200 run which is (62-124)

I should probably get a JesseDaBears tune, I feel a lot of turbo surge...
