You're paying for the exclusivity, not the car itself. You price out the parts, the seats, KW suspension, the carbon etc you won't get to that price. But when you factor in it's 1 of 200 or 300 for the entire planet then that changes things. If we were to get it, not a single one would be priced below $150k by the dealers.

If anyone wants the New 2026 GR Supra, we have one coming in to my Pittsburgh Dealer. It has the Carbon Body Kit which is $13,250.00. That's why this Supra is priced close to 78k. Questions call me at 412-397-9318

Nearly $80k for a body kitted Supra? Hell to the MF no. For that money, I would just commit a little more and grab a GT4/Spyder.

These are going for well over $100k. There's two cheap ones I found online for under $120k (probably in an accident). But for the most part, $130k + tax is the entry fee for a '22 GT4. The 4.0 GTS is a little cheaper though $95-115k.

You’re not wrong but keep in mind that there are two generations of the GT4/Spyder. Clearly, I am referring to the 981 generation which have dipped to the $90k-100k price point. Even at nearly 10 years old now, there is just no way a kitted up GR Supra can compare to a Porsche GT experience. The Final Edition needed more than some cosmetic upgrades and a non-serialized plaque.

Like, larger brakes, more horsepower, GT4 KW suspension, Cup 2 tires, Recaro seats? Sounds like a Supra version of a Porsche RS model to me ?‍

Unless you're talking about the 70k US model, paying 50% more for a 10 year old model is not "a little more"

I wonder if that wing uses the same mounting location as the anniversary wing. Would be nice to be able to swap. Just at a glance from the video, it seems to be roughly in the same place.

there's a guy on the track mkv group in Facebook that has a aj hartman wing attached to the anniversary edition holes. that would be a much better user of money in terms of downforce per dollar

I hope we can find a part number for that hood vent and install it ourselves.

If you look closely, the vent is like 80% blocked off. Everything NOT in a blue box can't flow any air. it's a sad replica of the real thing.

Apparently not. The US version is 70k, not 80.

And for that 95k you buy the most beat up, ragged out, highest mileage Cayman! Not 911! That wears a GT badge. That 70k Supra will cost you nothing in repairs for 5 years. That GT4 will cost you Porsche taxed parts the second you take delivery. For "a little more"

The Boxster/Cayman GT4 models are significantly more expensive than the equivalent “premium” models. Like the S or GTS models. Significantly more than $20000. Not sure why that seems like a good deal to you while the Supra pricing differences is apparently not.
Regardless, it seems you missed the point. Even at 10 years old, those cars are still much more expensive than a brand new Supra that has very similar performance. I can’t think of any “experience” that makes that a good proposition.
