Pretty new here but I keep coming across /3.0 and 3.0 engine options when looking at parts suppliers. Hoping someone can tell me why. Picked this 2020 up a couple weeks ago. Stickered up for a rally in two weeks. And maybe someone here knows who the previous owner was? Illinois car brought to Indiana. Thanks in advance.

Never heard of a "/3.0" before. Just a 3.0 Liter and 2.0 Liter. Possible mistype?

The major differences are 2 port (earlier models, 2020) vs 6 port (2021+). There's a few other smaller differences like plastic oil pump internals on the earlier models vs metal on older.

I'm sure someone has a more complete list, but those are the major ones.

No such thing as a /3.0.

Ok thanks. I didn't know if it was earlier compared to later 3.0. But a quite a few sites list it like that when choosing parts. You physically have to select one or the other.

Sites like? Interested to see this as I (and presumably lots of us) haven't seen this before.

Same. Must be temu lol
Yeah, I get the skepticism, it is not f##ing temu or some knock off site. I'll post screenshots when I see them again. Not going to dig through to appease those who haven't seen it. Is everyone on here this way?

So, does anyone have a legitimate response as to why that exists or what it means?

Could be denoting 2 port or 6 port but on the Dinan site it's for every year so that doesn't make sense. It also states parts that would work for both aren't available for the non / version (Like ignition coils). So I am assuming a database error on their part. What other sites have you seen it?

Thanks for a legit response. If it pops up on another, I'll screenshot it as well. I thought it was odd each time I saw it because nobody seems to talk about it. But I just blew it off as info I didn't need need at first. Then I saw it a few more times and it had me wondering if I should ask. I just don't remember where else at this time.

What to know is that really the only bolt on difference between the 2 port (2020) and the 6 port (2021+) is the turbo. Everything else is interchangeable between the two, as far as aftermarket parts.
