Sadly I crashed my Manual Supra, but my best time with the BM3 OTS Map and E40 was about 8.40s

I would like to share a data point from my current car, it's a 992 Carrera 4S Manual, this is with some OTS map and crappy 91:

Yes, it's catless downpipes, but haven't started with E85 at all. I might need to improve my shifting too, but it's kind of interesting that my Supra manual with E40 was almost as fast as this thing with just 91. I guess similar weight too.

Anyway, I miss the short gearing of the Supra though, the 992 has very very long gears, and I find myself not shifting as often as I did with the Supra. However, I don't miss 4th gear on the Supra that ended almost exactly at 130 mph...
Good numbers on the Porsche, have you done a cost comparison between the two? Dollar per 60-130 times?

Not really, mod by mod I think they are pretty equal, the tune was $1000 (as the previous owner also had it tune, the license was half the price). The Downpipes were $900 and I did the installation. I'm planning on the titanium exhaust and that alone is $6000. Next would be Pure800 and is about another $9000. I'll wait for those.

For the Supra:
  • Downpipe was like $500
  • Femto + BM3 like $2500
  • Intake Armaspeed carbon fiber $900
  • Viconti Flex Fuel Kit $650
Mod per mod, the Supra was more expensive, but what I paid for the 4S is almost three times the Supra's MSRP, so, yeah, the B58 still wins in power per dollar, the S58 even more.

Good old stupidity. R888Rs in the cold and wet (raining) when entering a corner in public roads... I hit a tree, no one got hurt. Someone in CA bought it and restored the car btw, he might post here at some point I guess.
glad you're okay and that your still active in the supra forums my dude ?

That's the fastest i've seen so far on pump gas did you do an ethanol run?

This was my 94 octane run, manual trans, omega 65, shift was approx .4s

Hello. No, I haven't had time to try ethanol yet. It won't be possible until after summer.

Do you remember the Tuners name that provided you assistance through MHD? Thinking about opting for a JB4 Tuner
I ran jb4 for almost a year but just got an unlock with mhd, and I’d strongly recommend skipping jb4 if you have the money and want to maximize gains

Following my previous post, I have added the following additional parts:

- Do88 Intake manifold
- Reflex+ w/ TMS harness
- ID1050 injectors
- Spool stage 2 transmission
- Sutphin custom transmission tune

The below Dragy was done on E75 at 35psi with high ambient temps & DA + IAT's peaking 60c. However, I was still able to achieve a flat 5.0s 100-200km/h dragy. For those of you interested in 60-130mph dragy, I was able to achieve 5.94s.

I'll continue tuning once the winter season starts here and retest my dragy times.

Here’s an update post my DI upgrades and running around ~27psi. There is still plenty of room to push more power, but I am happy with where I am. I think with more seat time I can get a better time for sure with this setup and tune:

Mods:
- Remnant Omega 65
- E50 + meth
- Dorch DS25
- S58 injectors
- Precision LPFP stage 2
- CTS DP w/ custom 3.5” exhaust
- CSF heat exchanger
- XHP stage 3
- BM3 custom tuned by HTE Performance

Nice improvement, looks like heat soak had you pull timing above 120 mph

thats great setup and time but doing 100-200 when its 36C outside
is just killing your times
try do it at night with better temps
its also very hard to compare it to other people, nobody check times in this conditions.
