Thanks but how about using map 6 to change the boost curve so it doesn't taper off as fast?
yeah of course you can, thats what I recommend for 93 octane cars when map 2 is too much

Awesome...that's why the more I look at it, the more I think ecu tune is an overkill for a stock turbo setup running on pump fuel (91-93). I don't want the insane torque (500+ ft·lb/ 680+ N.m) from big mid-range boost that is possible on mhd or bm3 because it kills clutch and diff and prematurely wears out other drivetrain parts. I just want more top end and extra mid-range torque that the stock clutch can handle.

If you can give some pointers here on how to configure map 6 and may be add it to the first post, that would be a great help to the community. Thanks heaps for the guidance!

yes absolutely, the JB4 limitation of not being able to run a lot of mid range boost is much easier on the clutch. I know a lot of people are replacing clutches on just MHD 91 maps lol

for 91-93 try map 1 first and see how timing looks

I'm back again, this time with a fresh tank and a catless downpipe. I appreciate any help, I don't think my half a brain is up to par.

MT
94 Octane (hopefully)
No Name 4.5" catless downpipe
AWE Cat-back
BMS BOV and charge pipe

FF=10 Suggested duty bias from page 1 MAP 1

looks good, just need to tweak duty bias a bit to flatten out the torque curve. map 1 is a good fit for this car.

@ColonelAdama when you look at a log, how do you know the throttle closure is caused by traction or caused by boost/wastegate duty?
From 4.5k+ rpm, 1 degree of timing produces more power than 1psi?
Why do some people prefer absolute over additive on map6?
you can tell it is TC rather than MT stutter because timing will drop abruptly with TC but not the "MT injection monitoring"

also you can see wheelspin in the rpm curve

Not a Corvette.

For informational reasons, this the floor for how much ignition retard TC can command:

catless? Use the recommended settings in the first post based on the DP on the car
yes I am catless. I will check that post.

will I need to create a whole custom map 6 to set duty bias or does that setting apply to all maps? Appreciate the help, lots to learn here.

All settings under user adjustments with the exception of the boost curve apply to all maps except Map 0 (disabled)

Except for FF is map specific, so make sure to set that after switching to intended map. only difference for map 6 vs any other preset map is boost targets.
