Nothing wrong with rear-mounted turbos. It's an amazing solution for packaging constraints, and can reach boost in about a quarter second. You say rear-mounted like it's bad or wrong, but it's actually pretty great.

TBH I was just adding to the fire lol. Truth be told, I thought of this video you linked while reading this thread, and wondered what the big issue is. I’m hearing the 90 degree turn into the flange seems to get the most hate. But to your point it seems the general distance the exhaust has to travel doesn’t have as big of an impact as one would think.
either way, love to see home built solutions.
