I will apologize in advance, as I know this information is out there. However, it is spread over multiple threads. I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate all of the information we know for those that are still waiting for their LAUNCH EDITION. There are a lot of us that are quite frustrated due to the lack of information.

Did anyone see BMW press release today? 7 cars had defective seat belt mounts and they had to replace whole cars. Probably reason for big delays

They keep delaying it. Any thoughts?

Same issue here. I just got another update today that dd now says delivery between 9/30 - 10/7. This is the third delay and estimated week for delivery. The salesman says he’s getting nothing from the Toyota rep on reasons why and is also getting frustrated.

Have the rep call his/her regional office and find out exactly where the car is. They can find out by making some calls or using a different system to look it up that the dealership doesn’t have. You can also look up the regional office for your area of the country and call. Your build date was in February. They need to at least tell you where it is and is it on hold.

That’s what I got from dealership yesterday. Wouldn’t surprise me if the had to check every car

I am also on my 4th delay, but finally yesterday the report shows the car on the rail, but still won’t arrive until the 25th to the 30th.

Mine showed today dealer arrival 9-27-10-02. Long time to wait for a launch that was supposed to be here in July.

For MI, the region is considered the Cincinnati Region so that may be the same for you.

Regional office near the Jersey port 973-344-5729. They might help provide you with the number you need. They also can plug in your vin and give you information on your car. Let us know
