Sounds like FL port has their shit figured out compared to NJ... Is the hold due to the Carbon spoiler or is there something else wrong with them?Southeast Toyota dealer inventory moves through the Jax FL port facility.

Yeah this is frustrating for sure! Two years in a row Toyota screw up the launch of special edition Supra... Ar least you are in the warmer part of the country year round. Without any ETA I am getting inru the winter months... I want to be able to drive it for some time before I store mine awayI wouldn't say that:/ They've (FL) been struggling more than I've ever seen with inventory schedules. It's been difficult for us and our customers. I was told the spoiler was the issue. However, after reading some posts on here about how the july and later builds have a newer software that has yet to able to be unlocked to be flashed....I'm wondering if that is a piece of the ship hold also.
If you look at post they didn't even dyno it since it was only 90 miles in.I find this. Take a look blue A91 going to be tuning
This is correct. Reached out to Phantasm tuning to ask about the car and the ecu security issue. They confirmed it was not tuned at all as the ecu was locked. If you look at post they didn't even dyno it since it was only 90 miles in.
yes so do service yourselfseems my unlocked 2020 is looking pretty good about now. If I take it in for service can they update the ecu and lock me out?
Someone said their 6/20 A91 had new ecu version. Pretty sure all A91 were made with itMight be on the bubble... My 2021 build date was 6/20
Fingers crossed
All of this makes me curious as to how much aftermarket ECU's from AEM, ProEFI, Vipec, etc. will catch on with these cars. Flash tunes with modern cars have been fantastic in recent years but ECU security lockouts are obviously becoming a huge issue for the tuner world and owners interested in tuning.
I think the new ECU has an additional security chip on the logic board. So updates wouldn't affect you the same way. The new cars have different hardware it seems.seems my unlocked 2020 is looking pretty good about now. If I take it in for service can they update the ecu and lock me out?
