so i swapped out the starter. car works like a charm again. had to remove the metal shield that covered the oil plug, disconnected the two wires, removed 3 screws (E10) and swapped. had to watch some random 2020+ X5 starter motor video to really get a look at where i'm going (there aren't any...
Thanks for this. About to tackle it myself tonight. Wonder if that "non-reusable part" (referenced black dot in 1st image) needs to be replaced. oh well.
thanks, yea ive seen one that was in english somewhere, I just take forever to install certain things sometimes. I have cf badges, headlight ppf, spark plugs, and reflector covers i've procrastinated on too. I just installed my powertex battery that's been sitting because I had issues with the...
Yea this Is my daily. Still looking for a shop that’ll work on my car. Shockingly have been having a hard time getting shops to call me back for some reason. The car does start randomly if I have multiple attempts so I could drive it to the said shop. Figured starters would last longer than the...

I didn't change oil at 1200. I went into the dealership at 6k/1 yr mark.. I don't track or race etc. So they changed the 2 free ones each at 6k and 12k miles. Latest one I did myself at 5k miles? I'm changing at another 5k soon. Have not sent to Blackstone but I just might this next time around...
yea I had the warning and it was pretty low. no leaks anywhere. I topped it off twice and kept checking for a few days and it seemed to have leveled off and stayed full. check levels often and keep some coolant nearby.
I feel your hail pain man. I usually keep the car in the garage and the one week I had stuff in the garage, hail came out of nowhere. I'm in central Florida and I have never experienced hail before this. My insurance covered it thankfully and it's in the shop now while I'm on vacation so at...
