Where do you drive: Utopia?
No kidding lol. My clown horn has already saved me from 2 idiots driving into my car in only 2k miles. Close calls while I was completely still. Sometimes people need to be reminded that they're driving a car and need to look out the windshield occasionally.Where do you drive: Utopia?
Well, they need to look out of whatever window faces the direction they're currently driving.Sometimes people need to be reminded that they're driving a car and need to look out the windshield occasionally.
Sheesh, close call and good reaction time.Well, they need to look out of whatever window faces the direction they're currently driving.
A couple months ago I had a close call in a parking lot. I started it up and saw a car coming so I waited to back up, after the car passed I put it in reverse and started backing up out of my spot. As I was backing up, I saw the car that had just passed stop, throw it in reverse, and start flying backwards toward me. I threw the car back in drive and jumped back into my parking spot just in time for the car to fly past my rear bumper in reverse, clearly not looking behind them at all while they drove 100+ feet in reverse through the parking lot. People are stupid.
This reminds me, I got to get an air horn for grocery shopping going forward.Well, they need to look out of whatever window faces the direction they're currently driving.

Did you need / used all the other parts on the invoice besides the horn to do the horn replacement?I bought a second hand Z4 low horn from eBay and the rest of the parts on this docket. I can now provide road users instant feedback on their shit driving without hanging my head in shame.
Awesome thread. Thanks!
There's a way to replace the horn without pulling the bumper and looks pretty simple. The video isn't in English, but it's pretty easy to follow along.i bought a low horn like a year ago and have just been hesitating on taking the bumper off etc. I've had many moments i couldve used a horn and didnt lol. (red light and front car wont go when it turns green, idiot drivers beside me/running lights on my turn etc). I just stay quiet ha
thanks, yea ive seen one that was in english somewhere, I just take forever to install certain things sometimes. I have cf badges, headlight ppf, spark plugs, and reflector covers i've procrastinated on too. I just installed my powertex battery that's been sitting because I had issues with the starter and swapped that out first. mix of laziness and garage being renovatedThere's a way to replace the horn without pulling the bumper and looks pretty simple. Love the ending.. using junk scissors jack while you're sticking your head in the wheel well, and the comment "sounds like shit?" at the end. There's a way to replace the horn without pulling the bumper and looks pretty simple. The video isn't in English, but it's pretty easy to follow along.

It's not difficult to do and it's a one person job. The lower freq horn needs to attach to the other side of the car anyway.Hi @Andrew4Supra, are you saying the mounting bracket is already there? All we need are the parts you listed and one washer + one bolt? Thanks!~ This was virtually a plug and play. The mounting hole is already in place near the existing horn.
If you order the bmw parts below… this makes things easy with the secondary horn plug harness and wires. You’ll have to splice into the original horn wiring with the new bmw wiring. Add shrink wrap to the 2 connection wires and you’re finished with the install. Quite easy as a diy. With the removal of the bumper, horn install and reinstall of the bumper… it took about 1.5 hours.
