My Ultra 23 phone's battery lasts for two days, so I never have a need to charge it in the car.Wonder if this will fix the stupid useless wireless charger from overheating the crap out of phones. I remember that it's got a cell repeater built in.
I asked them today about the ECU and they said no but I don't trust that they really know. They said only the specific module.I do believe they will, any unlocked ECU they will likely relock...

if you aren't going to use it, are you getting it refunded? it's pro-rated refund anywayAhhhh, just as I decided NOT to bring my car in for annual service (free because I purchased extended warranty / extended care whatever itās called), this came. I guess no harm for me to get it done since my car is basically stock LOL.
yea, not risking my ECU lol. especially with their history of not knowing a damn thing about our cars even though they're "specially trained techs"https://www.toyota.com/recall

The extended Toyotacare is actually good. They'll service the car for 4 years. They also replace air filters (both) and give you new spark plugs on the 4th year.Ahhhh, just as I decided NOT to bring my car in for annual service (free because I purchased extended warranty / extended care whatever itās called), this came. I have full record of my maintenance so Iām not too worry about any future warranty issues. Their 12,000 km oil change interval is a big no no for me. I have had like 3 oil changes in a year already (even though it only has 4000 km) because I do track days and want ābetterā engine oil in it. Like many here, Iām just skeptical about Toyota tech working on a bimmer product. The extended Toyotacare is actually good. They'll service the car for 4 years. If you have the extended warranty as well, you'll need to document all the maintenance.
As for this new update recall, I believe everything gets updated to whatever is current. So if you want to wait 5 years to do this, you'll get 5 years of new updates applied
