Did any of the 2021 A91s have HUD in automatic?

Nope. Never needed a speedo 2 inches above my speedo lol.
LOL. Never needed a speedo 2 inches below the speedo in my field of view. Apart from simply missing out, I can't see any reason why you wouldn't want a HUD, or at least the option. It's 2024.

I believe @Faye's A91 Edition was the former press car and is the only one with a HUD.
It was a prototype with no real VIN, and it now belongs to the Toyota Production Engineering Motorsports Team! There were 2 out there, but I'm pretty sure the other got crushed. Since they do not have real VINs, they could never be truly registered. At least my old loaner is being used! The A91 I have now does now have a HUD.

Yeah for real. I love my HUD, don't see any reason why you wouldn't want it other than cope that you don't have it lol

Reason 1:
- At night, the HUD enclosure is seen inside the windshield as a reflection. This is distracting.

Reason 2:
- I have no reason / need for it.

Boom, roasted.

Wait, I thought you like old school technology and prefer analog speedometer, ?

I like a well designed instrument cluster, digital or otherwise. ?

I've actually coded my HUD so that it only contains my current speed without any other distractions. I even removed that stupid orange line which serves no purpose other than sit in my field of view.

Never noticed it.

Must be the best way for everyone then. ?

Umm.. How about you enjoy having no HUD and I'll enjoy having one that I can turn off at my whim. ?‍♂

Is it possible to have the HUD show RPM? Even if it means changing out the unit?

No.

We are missing a module and getting said module to communicate with our cars seems very unlikely. I looked into it a while ago and besides being unlikely to get working (we're likely missing the coding for it to work too), the price/payoff just didn't compute.

I ended up buying a steering wheel with integrated LED shift lights and I think it's a better solution, at least for my needs.
