Im so sick of the “45th special edition” owners on this forum that i hope i never have to see that color in person ever
I’m going to start referring to mine as a 44thMT now.

Damn, cholos so easily triggered. If you want bragging rights, fork up the $5000. Otherwise, your mama’s teat should pacify the whining.

I’m just fuggin with you.

Mate! I have never once seen you post a single inflammatory thing or being even remotely mean or otherwise. It's always love, support and assistance.. albeit with an incessant tracking bent. ? People with under 100 messages should maybe stfu and show some respect.

Not a Corvette.
A Supra is a sleeper at a red light? Lmao. The Supra is like the polar opposite of a sleeper.

Also, since when is a post with sweeping generalizations about generations of people a “car review”?

I’m kinda disappointed you didn’t write “get off my lawn!” In all caps as your closing statement.

Auto rev match can be disabled in the sport mode, and you can make sport mode the default mode at startup using Bimmercode. I don't dislike rev-matching or heel-toe, I just want to do it myself.

The hill assist can't be turned off but it's not invasive. I think it lets go of the brakes as soon as you lift the clutch pedal off the floor enough to disengage the clutch start safety switch.

Delete your CDV.

Cringe auto apologists will crawl out of the woodwork anytime you mention anything to do with a clutch pedal. Our society lets almost everyone buy any car they want and have access to the internet. The kid you went to school with who ate his boogers and got suspended for setting a garbage can on fire now owns a car and posts about it on the internet.

View everything you see here through that lens and it'll make a lot more sense.

since we're talking about manual transmissions.... can someone tell me when i should be shifting out of first gear lol i feel like im always shifting at the wrong time and it gets weird with second gear, either the rpm is too high or too low. or maybe i just need to work on my technique
as others have mentionned, delete the CDV. Did it this weekend, what a massive difference!

Ok the boomer tag gets dropped a ton on this site, so let me just say the boomers and the Gen Z folks have had a chance to grow up with manual cars. That said, they know why it is so much more addictive to drive a sports car when you need to control every minute by shifting.

The Millenials and Gen Z grew up with game boy's and X box controllers which are basically the same as the paddle shifters. So I get it!

So this car is a blast! It is like you are in a cockpit. The entire driving experience is one hand on the shifter and the other on the wheel. In any traffic situation it is like you are in your own Nascar race. At a red light this car is a sleeper to 98% of the people out there! You punch this thing at 20 MPH in first gear and the tires break loose.

This is 100 times more fun, manual or automatic than my old C8! My buddy and I went out early on a Sunday and I beat his C8 by two car lenghts from 60 to 120 mph....this turbo is amazing!

So the trolls that will slam me I am sure for something I said should be banned from this site, if that is all they do! Do the moderators watch that stuff!

do not give me any shit on my 6MT badge
Go sit on an Atari controller, boomer

jkjk, maybe.
