    Good peak

The 3 engine option is very interesting.

So its very similar to Ford's approach with the Mustang

So the 4.0i will have the RZ badge

Someone in the parts catalogue system department may lose his or her job though

That's a huge leak of not intended

While it's not S engine (from BMW M models), the B58 is still a good engine and has proven to be underrated from the factory.

I don’t want to say „I told you so“, but: I told you so! Most parts are BMW. Not all the same like the Z4 uses, especially the interior parts are mostly older ones.

And i don’t see any reason to believe any more in preproduction parts. This is final. I’d bet on that.

    interesting stuff :
    • transmission part number is GA8HP51Z (ZF 8HP50 Gen 2) with a [email protected]$$ cooler!
    • Could find only 2 chassis braces, bulkhead triangulated bar and the center bridge. the "more-than-LFA" rigidity seems to be designed into the BIW (e.g. the triangulation in the front fender area).
    • seats and exhaust would be really easy weight reduction mods. previous bmw 4-way heated seats where 60lbs+ each! actually, with lighter wheels and a lithium battery thats ~150lbs of lost weight :p
    • wheel specs: F:9JX19 ET:32 R:10JX19 ET:40. basically same fitment as the BMW M4...
    • ....but unlike the M4, rear subframe is mounted with rubber bushings
    • rack-mounted EPS motor (Better feel) vs column mounted (86)...this arrangement has less road feel damping,..but final tuning is what matters the most anyway
    • dual pivot McPherson (tension and control arms are separated), hence dynamically nullifying the scrub radius >_< ... center steering feel would be diminished vs a single/combined lower A arm like the 86 or cayman (nothing PartsShopMax can't fix LOL ....they did exactly that for the E46 M3 and Genesis Coupe angle kits)
    • Front McPherson struts = drift friendly and camber "bolts" instead of camber arms.
    • Rear spring is separated from the shocks
    • Battery is in the trunk
    • Rear axles are the same part# as the F90 M5
    • Engine Oil pump is unique to TMC Supra

    Stuff i didn't understand:
    • where is the engine block?
    • "Active cruise control+Stop&Go function" ...really.... in a supra...-_-
    • this thing has LOTS of control units, i bet 50lbs can be saved in getting rid of the radar, navigation, KaFAS, Stop&Go..etc systems alone + the harnesses..dafuq??

So it's using the new B58 family engine debuted with the X5 and there two versions:

335hp (probably smaller turbo) in regular cars both in EU and US trim and interestingly, the EU model with particulate filter have the same 335 HP rating.
380hp (probably bigger turbo) in M340i, Z4 M40i and of course Supra. X3 M40i and other M40i models should receive this engine. Now here things a little bit tricky. The M340i EU has 370 HP only 10 less than the US without particulate filter, whereas the Z4 M40i EU (and probably Supra) has 335. Confusing stuff.

For those who are confused with B58C nameplate, that's a thing with RealOEM. N63TU2 for example is stated N63R in their catalog to make matters simple.

Can't tell from now. VW's latest 2 liter is using the same design and they have no problem up to 700hp where the block limit is.

Yep, pretty much the only difference in performance parts are the turbo and the oil pump/pan.

I think it's really interesting that shows that it is reliable engine X5 improving lubrication and could put a more powerful turbo confirmed of course.

Was anybody able to figure out if the fuel injection was D4S or standard BMW? I couldn't really tell.

From what I can see it’s just basic bmw injection.
