2023 Nissan Z Is Almost 200 Pounds Heavier Than the 370Z
A base, manual Z is 153 pounds heavier than a comparable 370Z, and the number only goes up from there.
Wow so a Supra 3.0 is about 202 lbs lighter when compared to a Z with similar trim features( 3.0 Premium 3400 lbs vs Performance Auto 3602). Also the front to rear balance favors the Supra(52/48) vs (57/43 manual Z)/(57/43 auto Z). A manual Supra 3.0 should be (51/49) if the gearbox is 50-60 lbs lighter.

Most of the new weight is obviously on the front of the new Z which sucks.

Understeer for all my Z friends-- potentially.

The last thing a ZF-8 Supra has to fear is a new Z lol :)

roll offers more mechanical grip, doesn't work for McPherson fronts due to compromised camber curves. z runs double wishbone fronts and doesn't have reduced camber gain.

A few things:

- It appears the car has notable understeer.
- The seat does a good job holding the big guy in place.
- Not one comment on how the car was responding? WTF
- Can we a get POV from the second blue Z? That was the more enthused driver. ?
- They need to send a car to the guys at Throttle House

I think there’s a review embargo until the 16th, he skirted it by uploading “Just the noise” lol. It looks like the blue car was the lead car, and Matt was just supposed to follow their pace.

Wow, the 9AT's shifting seems.... sluggish.... VERY sluggish... especially for it being in sport mode... wow... now i feel like this car is gonna be a prime example of where you can outshift the Auto variant with the Manual variant...

Nothin' a little bimmercode and Sport Plus can't fix! Oh wait...

All I can say is wow. This is supposed to be a “Supra killer”? Auto transmission looks to be lethargic at best, and has less roll stiffness than a wet noodle.

I think you copied exactly what I said on the Z Forums regarding the roll stiffness ;)

Very disappointed that the "Performance" trim car drives like that with those tires, while not being driven anywhere near 10/10ths.
