Yes. We need new drama. It's been a quiet weekend.

I just need an update on whether this guy got out of rehab. I need to know what kind of crack he was smoking to route the piping like that for a T4 flange. I’d understand if he’d used a V-band flange, but this design is, how would you say....

It was probably a mixture of meth, oxy and viagra that day

Not a great orientation of the gate relative to the turbo inlet. Boost control may be a challenge with that design.

Now what type of logic is that? Airflow loves 90° turns, surely this guy must have amazing boost control response.

Going back in the thread and the people replying to the OP saying "good job" boggles my mind.
So hey kits been on the car for a while now I'm making 600whp reliably on about 21 psi. I usually keep at at 19 psi just because 600 feels like a lot and at 19psi its a fun amount of fast that's still safe. I've had 0 issues and have put about 7k miles on the kit so far and everything's holding up great. 90 degree bends aren't optimal but with the limited tools and space I had it was the best I could do. 90 degree bends are actually fine maybe do some more research :). Thank you to everyone who supported me and thank you to everyone who hated and doubted my design like yourself. I can tell you've never actually accomplished anything so you feel the need to bring down others. I set out to do this project as a learning experience more than anything and I did just that. This kit has been an amazing success! If anyone wants to ask questions please do! ill try to be more active and respond more.

Whoever designed this clearly took zero effort to design it. "Does it fit? Yes. Good to go"
Look at previous post for haters and doubters such as yourself that don't know anything :)

It actually works very well once you fine tune everything believe it or not.

wonder if there any update... if you want to get to 600whp and with headroom to 800whp, I am curious why you didnt just get a pure800 or an equivalent hybrid turbo? I think you will easily get to that power with E85
More than anything I wanted to challenge myself and build a kit from scratch. I'm early into my engineering career and wanted to do a project on the side to practice my skills i'm still developing.

My turbo already had a t4 flange I wanted to use a V-band but I already had a perfectly good turbo so had to make it work any way I could.

Share your dyno curves and log then. Would love to see it working well.

Why is it that I don't quite believe you, or maybe you just need to drive a car with a properly fabricated manifold to understand what “zero issues” actually means?

Dude you have a 2port. You have all the room in the world. 90 degree turns is 101 in airflow.

No no no, Don't pull that bullshit. This is intervention so you can understand that what you had fabricated was downright lazy and embarrassing. Get that shit off the car and get it fabricated by professionals. Shit like this pisses me off about how cheap our cars really are. I waited a year for my dealer to get an allocation, and guys like you scoop them up and bastardize it like this.

I mean it’s prolly better than having the turbo mounted just before the exhaust tip 🤷
Nice happy medium 0.o
