Is this the spot under the hood to put a trickle charger?

Yes and there will be another post kinda on the fender to hook the other one to
You talking for the ground? Is it under the black plastic?

Dumb question... the Ctek battery charger I have doesn’t have long enough cables with these 2 spots so far apart. Is there another place ok to hook up the negative?

Any bare chassis part that will act as a ground is good. The unpainted bolt on top of the suspension strut is good. Just ensure there is absolutely no possibility of the + and - clips touching.

I used the bolt circled in red for ground so that the hood can be closed completely with the charger connected.

Where did you hook the positive too? Mine doesn't fit where it suppose to go. Thanks

Under the nut in the top of this image.
Oh I see, i was trying to see how it would fit under the big positive bolt lol. Did you have to disconnect the battery to remove the nut to put the Ctek positive cable on? Thanks

These batteries don’t hold a good charge, do they when not driven daily.... Ugh
In a video I watched a while back they said some infotainment and dash circuitry actually stay on until you lock the vehicle; only then all circuitry shuts off.

zamiel - Thanks for posting this picture! I'm going to do this on mine later today. :) I've been using alligator clips and are so ugly.
