Would you also be able to make a basic exterior frame like that without the duct for the driver side so it looks more symmetrical?
Planning on a making a custom tow hook with the same looking surround. Will definitely make it more symmetrical.

Unfortunately, you're going to have about a million opinions on colours.

While I would love to see (maybe) red piping, it's not for everyone. If you make it black, the majority of people will be fine with it. If it's bright orange for example, there's no way I'd want it.

And while it is a great idea - especially for MTs and non adaptive cruise control models - it all depends on cost too: Hopefully you can avoid Supra tax.

You can't please everyone!

Absolutely. Everyone has their preferences. I mentioned kevlar because it has been used in the past for intakes and ducting. So thats where the idea came from.

It looks like most people want the oem look. Great to have that feedback.

Just a thought, if you include an installation guide with this product, a quick "how to" for coding out the radar sensor would help a ton for people. If you arent aware it can be easily done through protool. While I havent done it personally, you should (in theory) be able to go to Vehicle Order, find the line item that refers to the radar cruise control and uncheck it. Then save.

Wow, this is a really interesting project. I wondered the same thing about the intake duct after installing the intake and would definitely be interested in something like this as long as it does not interfere with the parking sensors. I don’t use adaptive cruise control myself, I feel really uncomfortable trusting it to stop as needed in traffic (which is the only time I’d consider using the feature). +1 for the oem look!

I made an earlier 3D printed prototype using matte black filament. Looks a little too subtle IMO.

I absolutely love the subtle look. OEM+ style for me. Would 100% buy if it looks like this. I would also be interested in a matching part on the other side just to maintain symmetry.

How is this design different from Velossa Tech, other than location of the inlet?
