Hey, quick question about the intake design — since the duct rises quite steeply from the front opening to the airbox, do we still need a drain for water management, or is the slope enough to prevent water from reaching the intake? Just want to be sure it won’t pool or get drawn in during heavy rain or spray.

I have been driving with the prototype in heavy rain, washed the car, left it outside, etc. The slope of the duct does not let any water in and it does not sit in the duct. Any water drains out the front.

Just don't drive it during a flood. 😜

Will you have the grill finished before the group buy is over? Would like to see it before committing? Thanks!
You can leave a deposit and if for any reason you want to cancel, just leave me a message and it will be fully refunded. No commitment needed.

I will be working on the grill and will post photos here and on the GB thread, but that is probably a week or so away. If the GB grows too big, I might need to end it early because It will be too much to handle at once, and I may have listed it too cheap for it to make sense financially with all the expenses taken into account. 😬

Also, does anyone know what the process would be to make the carbon fibre glossy so that it matches all my other carbon? Satin will just look out of place.

Either have it wrapped with gloss or take it to a paint shop and have them throw a clear coat on it for you. If your skilled you could do either yourself.

In all likelihood, not everyone that buys one will install it. You just need to stalk the classifieds area and I'm sure a few will pop up
I’m hoping for this or a Black Friday Special 🤣

Gloss clear engine enamel in a spray can. Easy.

Yeah I unfortunately also missed the GB. I will definitely wait for another chance to buy it, if it comes up
