A lot of people are watching and not commenting. I get a ton of messages of people thanking me privately because they dont want to get involved in your drama

I have direct contact with bflash and their parent company, I know what's going on. - you are guessing.

I'm not worried about FEMTO orders, like I said in my video - I look forward to a USA based solution, whatever it may be or who ever does it. At the end of the day another solution just means more cars to tune... more cars with my parts. No matter how you slice it, it's a good thing for me. What's good for the community is good for me.

Stop pretending this is exclusive. I too have been in direct contact and I have been told by them directly this is in the works, but they were not willing to give a timeline. I have seen from others it's in testing.

I'm amazed I actually have to type this out..

What a company tells outsiders and what they tell dealers is not going to be the same thing.
When they (bflash) has a solution it will not be tested in the field by other dealers, it'll be tested within their internal company network. When this happens, I promise you, you will not know.
My next door neighbor will probally know before you lol

With respect, it may be better if you take the high road and just don't engage with Viscunti. You can put him on the ignore list in the hopes of putting the thread back on track.

I mean, Visconti did publicly call him uneducated, then doubled down with the “I can’t believe I have to explain this to you” attitude in a thread that has nothing to do with them.

I don’t know what was said to bring them to this point, but this behaviour from any business is unacceptable. Just my opinion.

On topic - It’s good to know there are places out there working on unlocks… doesn’t matter how close they are.

damn folks, this is how the community get's screwed.....until there is true competition, there are just barriers put up to prevent anyone else from making progress and protecting existing revenue streams. There is likely progress being made every day by folks to get into the DME, most of it is not published because it's vaporware. Everyone needs to relax, i'm a locked 2021 as well and would get into custom tuning tomorrow if it were ready, but it's not. We might be lucky if it's ready by the end of the year.

You can’t hide behind this. The communications from bFlash were the exact same when I reached out vs when the local bFlash dealer and hardware owner I know reached out.

I know some of you may just see this as frivolous whining, but in the end why are we as a community accepting this kind of treatment? The gate keeping, the redirects, information control.

Go ahead, reach out to bFlash yourself. Check their patch notes where they have already unlocked Susuki and Mercedes MG1s. Why would BMW be far behind? Clearly John wants to control this information and manipulate it for his own benefit, and clearly this continued behavior is recognized by the community time and time again…

In the end I care not how anyone feels, simply wanted to share the news that soon all supras will be unlocked without the need for a clone, and soon to follow we will see the first domestically unlocked 2021+ ECUs.

sigh, youre right.. because the second bflash has something in the works they are going to tell all their dealers and that local dealer is going to tell you.. and you are going to tell all of us that it's happening !! lol That's not how these things go down.

Why do I need to control information? I'm simply telling people you are full of bs, spreading infomation that's not correct. Just like how you're selling ECUs you found on ebay and whacking people over the head while telling them about all the savings.

At the end of the day if and when bflash does have something I won't have a reason to use FEMTO anymore. People are still going to come to me for the service. Maybe you underestimate what I actually do for this community and how many people/shops actually rely on me for my services. You make it seem like I'll be shut down, unable to continue to do unlocks for people. Right now I do a load of prejune unlocks for all platforms, not just EcuTek.

I really can't wait until you find out what I'm not telling you
