After several attempts to get an update on my order (placed last Oct) I got desperate when they told me no cars with my spec is expected to be delivered in Nov/Dec. So, I knew I had another 4 months to wait and even that is not guaranteed.

On a Tuesday afternoon the unexpected happened. A friend shared an ad for an MT 2023 Supra with 400 miles only. It checked all the boxes for me immediately. Exactly as my spec and price (when I include shipping/tax from UAE)

Few hours later and I was driving her back home! Still shocked how fast everything happened, considering I waited 11 months and had no hope to get the car in the near future.

Quick wash.

First things first. Had many leftover parts from the old Supra, so had them installed. Starting with H&R lowering springs, wheel spacers, and front sway bar.

I wanted to change the steering wheel to something that does not look out of place, practical for daily/track duties, and looks as if it came from factory. Got in touch with @NitroYellowMKV after the positive feedback and could not be happier. Great customer service and took care of every single detail. Replies instantly even during install.

Congratulations on your new car.
I saw your car advertised on Tuesday last week, one of my friends shared the post with me but it didnā€™t last long. Congratulations again on your car. Happy to see some MTā€™s in Qatar. This my first time seeing this thread, I read it from the beginning and it was so satisfying. I was about to tell you regarding the MT that you ordered and waiting for it that you can buy it from USA and export it from there but it will cost you alot compared by UAE and the procedures would take a long time. I bought one of the MTā€™s from USA and exported to Qatar. It took me almost 4 months to receive my car.

Thanks! I have been following your build for a while!

Considering I wanted Nocturnal manual (rare so far), with the high supra demand in USA meant that, even If I find one, the price will be too steep. Prices in GCC are not bad too. I was quoted 57k from UAE, when I paid the deposit and placed the order.

Great for you that you found what you were looking for. Hope we see it in Lusail Circuit this year. Donā€™t forget to share the videos with us šŸ™„

Some mods during the weekend. First I fixed the clown horn. Much better now, and I wish it came from factory like this.

Replaced the fake vents. Although not fully utilised, I am happy with them for now.

Removed the clutch delay valve and did a full bleed for the system with Moutl RPF 660 for track duties. Pads will go on later before hitting the track.

Finally I installed my old Raceseng tow hook that I use to remount the front licence plate too.

Hey Darth, since Qatar has a pretty hot climate, have you ever noticed your Diff overheating or leaking ?

No, I haven't. I once saw the transmission (Auto) leak, but not the diff.

So what is the benefit of removing clutch delay valve? Would I face any issue later of removing it? And which garage you recommend me to work at for removing the valve and other things for the Supra?

I just did it because most BMW guys are doing it to improve shifting feel and limit ā€œjerkinessā€. There is no downside of removing it, so I just removed it, since I was bleeding the system with a track appropriate brake fluid anyways. I have to say the difference is subtle, but itā€™s there.

On track the stock brake fluid overheat, bubbles, and you get a squishy brake pedal, as the brake fluid is shared between the clutch and the brake system, I have a theory that the clutch slippage issues faced by several mt owners are caused by the same overheating fluid. Combined with a clutch delay valve, this could lead to more wear on the clutch. I will have to wait and see this track season I guess!

Top innovation garage is the place to go for major builds. For the CDV delete and other small items itā€™s not worth it, I recommend you do it yourself. Many instructions are available, and you will enjoy the process!

Thanks! Yes, he is, and you can customize every part of it. Wheels were sold long time ago. If and when I go to coilovers, I want to fit wider wheels than the Fogelines.
