Traded in my 2003 911 turbo for the Supra. Fun car especially after the turbo and intercoolers upgrades, but got really tired of 20 year old Porsche problems. No regrets!
Wow, those 996 911 Turbos were my dream car for a while.
Could you compare the 2 in terms of performance and driving satisfaction please?

Sure!

The 996tt were relative bargains a few years back when I picked it up. The 6 speed was very engaging, but the shifting was just “ok” until you get a short shifter and a weighted shift knob. Steering feel is good, but not great, the AWD takes some of the that natural older 911 sensitivity away.

Generally a very planted driving experience, maybe a bit too planted. Hard to get the tail to play safely without the car wanting to swap ends on you. You also knew exactly how fast you were going, loud, rattles, rowing your own gears 😀

by the time I was done modding my hr 996tt, it was as pushing 650hp and was a handful to drive. It’s definitely faster that the Supra, but I wouldn’t say it’s more fun, just more analog.

Hard to really compare the Supra since it’s 20 years newer in performance, tech, safety, etc.

Charger Scatpack. Most interesting thing about the car was watching others brake assuming I was law enforcement, then watching them accelerate when they figured otherwise…. Overall, not a bad car, but as you guys know, not near as refined as the Supra…. Room for others, check… V8 throaty exhaust, check, curvy back road adventure, not so much… and everybody has one.

I sold my R53 JCW Mini coupe that was a blast to drive but I sold it a friend that will take good care of it.

Did not necessarily trade or sell, but my 2021 STI was totaled so I replaced it with the Supra.

Someone in a charger failed to yield at an intersection.

I traded in a 2019 ND2 miata RF. Had swaybars, pads, tires, and diff bushings. Kinda miss it but the supra is such a better all-rounder.

And had a 2012 STI sedan prior with wheels/tires, intake, cutback, and some bushings/swaybars. Also a fun car but I couldn't shake the feeling it was going to blow up every other day 😅 sold it on cars and bids.
