Picked up the GV70 today to pair with the Supra. Needed something with a bit more practicality.

Curious to know how you like it after awhile... that's on the short list to replace my wife's RX350 - neither of us can really stand driving that POS.

I drive my supra on good weather days and my 2005 ford ranger on crappy weather days. That's my odd duo.

My designated winter car is a GTIā€¦ great poor weather car. Parked for 6-8 months but soon to come back out.

The Supra stays far away from any salt or snow.

Probably a G80 comp + awd.

Once the child comes, I'll likely get something that's still fun, but can fit a baby seat in the back.

Lotus Emira or a Cayman GT4 will replace my MKV in about a year. A Model 3 will be an addition for practicality unless I start dating someone with a sedan/SUV lol.

This MIGHT become the successor to mine at some point too. I'm just debating whether I wanna stick around for another supra or two since I know there's gonna be some improvements in the next year or two.

Which reminds me, not related to my Supra, but I'm going to be checking out the Mk8 Golf-R when the time comes.

Hopefully they'll offer it with the sunroof in the US this time too.

Actually I don't like sunroofs (extra weight at the top of a car) nor use the one on my WRX Limited at all, so it's fine for me without one. I chose the base STI with all the bells and whistles too for this reason as the Limited version comes with a sunroof as well.

When it comes to German made tech, it's one more thing that will go wrong.

Got two FD's and an RX8 (which is very practical) with the Supra. Tapped out until I get either an RS6 Avant or 992 GT3. My fiancƩ's lease for her CX-9 will end next year and she'll be getting a Tesla Model Y to replace it.

Iā€™ve got the 911 bugā€¦ 997 GT3? ā€œSettleā€ for a M6 Carrera S? Pay record high prices for a 993? Wait for more 992s to hit the lots for 991 inventory to go up? I donā€™t even know if the ā€œP taxā€ is worth itā€¦

My wife loves it. I wanted her to have a sportier vehicle than her Previous SUV. We ended getting every option we could and it was well worth it in our opinion. You really can't beat it for the price. The interior just screams elegance and quality without having to pay the same prices you would from its German competitors.

We tested the X2 M35i, GLA 350, Evoque, NX300 (also read up on the 2022 NX350), Macan, and a few others. The GV70 decimates all of them when it comes to power, styling, and options at this price point.
