My wife and I are so impressed with the Supra, that when it came time to look for a new family wagon, BMW was pretty much the only answer... Went in looking for a B58, ended up with a N63. Damn, this thing moves!

Has anyone else become a BMW fanboy (or girl) since the Supra?

Love the supra because it was part BMW. But the only thing is most of the time bmw is really not known for their reliability. I work with an ex bmw mechanic and he always told us to lease one because after that with the miles it becomes a headache.

Ya Supra was my first quickish car, decided I want something faster but didn’t want to go big turbo, decided it was cheaper to buy a 1000cc bike. Talk about gateway to a dangerous drug

Honestly Supra was supposed to be a placeholder for me after my C7 Z06 was totaled… originally wanted the Supra for a year or two and then go back to a C7 Z06 or ZR-1 but now i sorta want a G82 M4 never used to like BMW until now

Have owned a few BMW’s before the Supra. Ended up selling my f82 to get it.
If it wasn’t for the BMW interior and engine, I probably wouldn’t have gotten this car.
Now I’m going back and forth debating if I wanna sell the Supra for a 6spd m4 with carbon buckets.

Kinda the other way around for me:

first BMW was a 2001 Z3, then a 2007 Z4 Coupe, and also had a 1973 2002!

Yes, would certainly entertain a BMW. Leaning back towards Mazda for next car, now they have an inline 6. Just waiting for Mazda to sell enough crossovers to justify an RX-9.

Where are the honest folks who can’t get enough meth after buying the Supra….
I traded an x5 for the Supra. If an X5M were an option ($$$$$) i probably would have purchased that over the Supra. Thank god we have a third car/caravan/tank to road trip in. The boys are getting big and an MDX, while nice, wouldn’t cut it for 6-8 hour drive with the five of us.

Not at all, I’ve have a lot of cars including BMW M3 and Porsche Cayenne Twin Turbo V8 and I swore I’d never buy German again unless it was new and under warranty, that’s why I’ll never go full unlock. After I’m done beating the shit outta this for 3 years I’ll buy another new toy…

Same here, unless I’m financially comfortable enough to have it as an extra toy,
Once warranty is up onto the next!

Like others I’ve been a BMW fanboi - but never could afford an upper trim/powerful one until a few years ago. However the stock speed/power in the Supra/B58 feels “normal” to me now and anything less than 300 horsepower feels slow.

Problem is the wife is hooked on horsepower now. She was all about whatever got the best gas mileage before she got a taste of that boost in the Supra.
