Here is another quick tip for eliminating subwoofer grill rattle / vibrations...I did this awhile ago and thought it might be helpful to post while we're on this topic....

Apply drops of flexible silicone adhesive between grill insert plate and grill cover...

I have all my bits now & I'm looking forward to attacking this project today

Just one silly question how hard are the "clips" etc that hold the grill above & cover the ports go through to get off ?

Do you just pull/lever up carefully or ???

I just don't want to hurt easily broken bits that are near on impossible to easily replace here

The clips hold fairly well but not difficult at all to remove...Just use a plastic trim tool to pry upwards around the grill...same goes for rear cover...

I've gotten 2 of the three items I'm waiting for. I've installed the ports and am going to stuff the two enclosures, just need the foam to arrive.

Got the vents in, cut up a pencil holder for mesh, wadding cut, looked way too thick at about 2" uncompressed so split it in half, about to poke it in after lunch

Making good progress!

They stack 2 sheets of wadding on top of each other...I found each sheet was just a little over 1" thick...

I had to get all my stuff locally so it was a case of "that will work"
