13:05 uhhh the car shouldn't jerk forward like that when revving while clutched in. you may need to adjust your clutch pedal, hopefully there's not debris stuck between the PP and flywheel.

other thought is dead cold fluid in the trans causing the input and output shafts to grab via the bearing. but I've never seen it grab that hard.

edit: if the problem goes away after a few pumps of the clutch pedal, that means you need to bleed the line

That was me slightly releasing the clutch to help it build a little boost so it would blow off.... just reving it barely makes enough pressure to hear the bov so by slipping the clutch slightly it allows it to build just enough to make some noise.

thanks for sharing this video, you really made it easy without confusing the spectator. I have HKS BOV kit and didn't install it yet. So, after watching this installation tutorial, I have a question if you don't mind. Now if Install the HKS kit the same way you did. The same way I mean like installing HKS charge pipe with HKS BOV and the run the vacuum hose from HKS BOV to the manifold, using the adapter to connect the hose. Would it work? and how safe is it?
because you know HKS BOV is pain to install it and I'm still not convinced with that much of electric work with their kit.

No it wont work sadly ... the HKS BOV works differently that the tial or turbosmart and the bov wont open ... the only reason the TIAL Q or the turbosmart work would be because they are using such a light weight spring. I have a HKS bov and tried it and learned the hard way so i put it on my other car and took the Tial Q off it threw a green spring in it and boom it worked ... so if you are just looking for the sound then i would get rid of what you have its so much more difficult and unnecessary and either build one yourself or buy that BMS kit ... links to either are in the video description

really appreciate your fast reply, and yes I have BMS kit as well and I'm gonna install it soon and sell HKS kit since it's still new and not opened.

From what we saw you can’t swap the hks spring so it won’t work … I swapped the Tial Q spring to a green spring and then it worked … it didn’t work with the original 11 lb spring

Posting on this to give my 1000 mile update. No issues what so ever since putting this BOV on the car ... I have 0 air leaks and there is no loss of power from this modification ... I did a best of 7.21 100-200kph recently on stock turbo jb4 if anyone needs proof that there are no leaks I would say that this is enough
