Another possibility, what if its on the upper quarter panel? It would explain the odd looking humps on the test mule.

They could also cheapen out and just stick fake vents on this part of the door. Like we see on the example below.

^I made that for another thread here. I guess fake vents would achieve the FT1 look. If they do decide to go with this route I just hope it won't make the car look cheesy.

I really like the vents to cool the brakes both in back and presumably up front. Tastefully designed, functional vents not overused add to the overall appeal of a sports car to me. I vote to keep them at the rear and those on the fenders!

The Z4 does have a similar bump on the lower door. I hope this doesn't mean no air vents for the Toyota :(
