^Booo, well here is the 1:64 FT-1 toy car. I think it still looks good with just the line crease on the door and no air intake.

^ Nice catch, I have never seen a car with a "sandwich" seam running the length of the door edge like that.

It looks like its just a fake panel they attached to the door. :(

expected :( still though, despite many of my early reservations I will admit they have been pretty faithful to the FT1 and included many design cues I thought would be completely left out so even if fake it is still commendable.

E: just realized this too, what is up with the frames on the doors?

I was wondering this myself, then I looked up the RCF GT3 vs the RCF and I realized that the Lexan windows need a frame to be rigid. The production car will be frameless.

Here is a better look at the door piece.
Interesting that it is a bolt-on piece. Might make widebodies a bit easier to work with if they want to blend with the door a bit better.
