Car is finally back from getting coated.... time to take out the ECU and ship it to Russia.

If you guys are in the Triangle Area... August Precision is the place to go for PPF and coating. They are amazing. They had to place my car outside on the day of pick up because they were running out of space and had it under a nice tarp to make sure everything stayed immaculate.

Top notch service.

Shipping to Russia hella risky right now with what’s going on but good luck!

hopefully everything goes smooth

We'll see. I'm super unlucky... So maybe I shouldn't have sent it off.

The worst that happens is that I have to get my car towed to a dealership and get a new ECU programmed.

Yeah. That's what I've been thinking. Worst case is really not all that bad. Annoying, sure. Bad. meh.

You’re gonna see a Russian solider using your ECM as a claymore mine on the news. J/K

Got quoted $25,000 to get a paint job on the car o_O. Now I know why people just wrap their cars.

For a quality legit paint job...that's about right. Pulling the motor and interior I assume.

A complete quality wrap might be upwards of $7-$10K as well.

Perfect. The trunk lifts automatically after lifting it a bit. 130 to 140 ish lbs of force might be best for some. I have a spoiler on there too. So I wanted to make sure it worked.

I am going to make a video as soon as I get my car back to show the difference.
I got the 156lb version installed and find it to be stiffer than what I think it needs to be. Even at 152lbs it'll be too stiff. Do you think they can custom make some struts?

You don't need a custom one. They have a absurd amount of configurations. Here is a search for ones between 100-135 lbs. For compressed length don't go over much over 11.00". Something negligible like 11.02" will be fine.

Good call, I ordered a 129lb force strut. Will report back end of week with results.

Do.. uh.. do it.
Nah. Probably just going to keep it Nocturnal. But I'm probably going to go widebody. I'm having to do some major homework on the wheels. Trying to figure out how to do a flush static stance.

Did the dress up bolts kit include the strut brace hardware, or you ordered separately?
