Cool thanks! Did you send them a transfer of exactly what was on the invoice or did you add anything to cover fees on their end (I saw a video where they had posted a 5 euro transaction fee? in the order status)
Yes, so on the invoice it mentions you need to cover the fees. So make sure with the fees you’re getting them the exact amount or a little more. I ended up paying a few cents more on the invoice.

I am coming back to share my experience in case it helps anyone else

Biggest point I'll make: It seems FEMTO is pretty careless when repacking your ECU to send back. I had tightly wrapped and padded the box when sending it but on return, they kind of just threw everything back in there without much effort. Luckily there was no damage but I would pick the most rigid box you can find and pad it as well as possible.

I followed this video:

Timeframe: 1 week
DHL picked up my package on Monday around noon and it was back by Friday at 2pm

I used Wise to do a wire transfer (encountered a hold for a few hours but cleared the same day just like @clema91)

FEMTO received my DME and shipped it back out within like 4 hours the same day so their turnaround is very quick.

Other notes:
- Tape an airtag to the DME that way you know where it is at all times
- On the box clearly write Temp import/export so that customs doesn't stop the package

Hope this helps

I would then recommend to include return shipping.
Stupid question but how does that work? Do you just prepay DHL and they give you a label to put in the box for the return journey?

Silly question but why would writing temp import/export impact Customs one bit. Seems like they’ll inspect anything they decide to. And it seems putting something like that on a package would just add suspicion. Kinda like drug smugglers writing “no drugs inside” on their shipments. Seems you’d be better off writing these are not the droids you’re looking for on the package.

When you submit the order from FEMTO you can select that they include return shipping on the invoice. For me it was 150 euros, cheaper than what I paid DHL to get it there. I would use that option and save the hassle and responsibility of a return label

Not sure but that is what the DHL employee told me to do ?

Hey guys,
I’m trying to do the femto unlock with mhd+
2024 supra
I’m getting message: This ECU is not supported
I emailed femto but wanted to see, am I doing something wrong?

Just tried to fill in the info to the Basket, comes up with ECU not supported. (last 6 numbers are erased on the ss)
I sent Femto an email and hopefully they respond back.
Right after entering the VIN, it auto gives the message, This ECU is not supported.

I'll keep us updated.
I actually went to carmax and tested all the 24 VINs and yeah all have the same issue.
Anything under 24 seems to work great.

Of course when I'm ready to Femto, I get this block... Damn it to hell lol

Mine Supra was assembled June 2024 and I had no problem. Followed there directions. Shipped on Monday, had to drop off at DHL which is 40mins away? and was delivered back to my house the following Monday. I did however just go into me bank and they handled the transfer.

Guys like Mike Botti have already talked about it and once one guy does it the rest will copy. Gives no incentive for someone to put the time and money to unlock when everyone will essentially steal it for free.
If this were the case how has no one copied Femto’s process?

Not a Corvette.

It's basically $1000 + tuning software license and a week or less end to end. At this point, it's cheaper than most other higher end platforms for tuning possibility.
