How's your driveway when you wash your wheels? I have a hard time getting the black brake dust off the concrete, even with its clear coating. I also wonder if ceramic pads shorten the life of the rotors. With less than 7000 miles on my car, the OEM pads may stick around for a while.

I got my car 2 days ago, I have not washed it yet. I will probably wash my car at a car wash 90% of the time. I think Ill stick with OEM pads for now, with my car brand new. I can wash often.

I do need to research now to properly wash my car though. I just blast my old jeep with pressure washer. I guess I better search or Ai or google how to wash, because people here annoyed get me re-posting old questions. IMHO the forum is more interesting we new excited owners posting questions, but what do I know.

I'd be interested to know if you can remove the brake dust from your driveway surface. Here's what a section of my driveway looks like.

^ That would likely annoy my landlord, he literally pays for someone to clean the driveway each year.

How did you find a brand new 2024?
Was at dealership sitting for 10months after someone who ordered it's financing didnt work out. I feel bad for them, especially if they see me driving.

I insisted on brand new battery, new oil, and free ceramic.

Not a Corvette.
Dealer “ceramic” should be free anyway. It’s basically trash, if they even bothered to spray it on.
