Ok so I got a 2021 but ecu MGF date in March which means unlocked…. I am about the get the MHD tune stage 2. If I take the car to do the recall will I lose my tune and my ECU will get locked? Wil I be able to retune it?

At this point it's all hearsay about them messing with anything other then fixing the software issue...

People always seem to blow things WAY out of proportion without facts...IMO...

Great to know. Another recall I can skip
Agreed. This condition is not caused by the car, but the douchey-me-first-out-of-the-office-garage-before-you-regular-car-peasants BMW drivers...

I was just at the dealer yesterday and they mentioned the recalls. They said they can't do them yet because A)parts aren't available and B)they didn't have a Supra certified technician yet. I questioned that second one. They explained that dealerships are not authorized to perform Supra maintenance and/or work, especially recall work unless they have a Supra certified technician.

For someone who actually had this issue come to light on my 2021 Supra it's ultra serious. My girlfriend was driving the car at the time and almost drove off the road. The brakes are complete unresponsive. They had to replace the vacuum/oil pump and this was before the recall came out. Was scheduled to take this car out to the track several times inbetween then.

Due to this Recall, Toyota is temporarily holding enrollment into NASA program. No free trackday until toyota comes up with solution.
Brakes? Who needs brakes when racing? I know two guys that don’t need them, me and Fred Flintstone.

I had a 2005 4runner special edition, and my first brake job was at 100,000 miles. First thing mechanic asked, do u use tranny downshifts. Well of course, that's why I get great brake mileage. Everyone at the dealer couldn't believe it.

:D

technically, this is not racing, it's High Performance Driving EDUCATION. ;)
Yes. Inconvenient to my attempt at humor so ignore the facts. Seems in vogue these days ?

Do you think she started it up the wrong way a few times? Just trying to figure out if their bad starting sequence has any truth behind it.
