Realizing now, even if in a rush to work, I need to read some forum sections (like this one) more carefully and less like a social car blog. Anyways, great advice and I wasn’t reading everything fully. My apologies 😬

I put the OEM top hats back on and have adjustable SPL control arms, so went with that. Despite the beginning of this thread saying Ohlins won’t work with SPL parts, they are fine. Perhaps some things have changed over the years. And thx to @Evolution I realize the springs the Ohlins come with will be a perfect place to start for me. I want extra height after coming from Eibach springs. And I can dial in the stiffness (is that the right word?). We‘re starting with 7, since that is what is recommended for track. Maybe a bit too much but I’d rather be on the safe (hard) side than not.

Edit: They feel absolutely fantastic 🤩 These Ohlins, as is out of the box, are perfect for tracking…. And easily brought my lap times downs.

Great thread!!!

Anyone tried the Milway Camber plates with the stock or Ohlins suspension?

Thinking of getting them on stock first and then later on on Ohlins?

My stock hats are nice @Blue so far with adjustable control arms. Yet to find out how good next weekend on track. What rake did y’all go with? Front and rear. Thanks for this thread Blue!

Ohlins + OEM tophats would be a much less expensive option than the MCS 1-ways + Vorshlag I am planning. I'm curious to see how these work out for you!

Possible top plate option:
https://www.supramkv.com/threads/new-camber-plate-option-millway-motorsport.12868/

https://www.millway.se/toyota/supra-a90.html

Made in Sweden like Ohlins, and seems like they sell a lot of Ohlins-compatible parts otherwise also.

I’m going to get these together with the Ohlins R&T on stock Ohlins Springs.

I assume this might also solve all you guy’s issues

as Millway said:

The damper top pin and also the spring will be the same height as with OEM top-mounts.
You need partnr:
90530-U-A90 (camber plates)
90537-5 (adapter kit)

Quick follow up on my new Ohlins. I replaced my OEM top hats.

I‘m running -2.5 camber with SPL adjustable control arms. Felt great on track this last weekend at Homestead. I was definitely more confident, which = more consistent faster lap times. These coilovers are no joke. We used the Ohlins recommended track settings, 7 clicks I believe.

No need for after market springs for my use. Loving these Ohlins!

What did you end up going with for camber plates?

This is the way.

Thank you for posting this, even though it has thrown my upgrade plan a curve ball. I was pretty set on MCS + Vorshlag. Now I'm seriously considering Ohlins+ Millway.

Doh! I misunderstood your post lol.
But it is a bitch getting an alignment. I have a guy that is cool with SPL adjustable control arms now. But I’ve heard from others, it’s hard to find a place to do it if you don’t do it yourself.

I literally couldn't find anyone within an hour and a half of my house who was willing to do it. This is the main reason why I purchased the Paco Gen. 5 Hubstands. I'm excited to give those a go.
