Love my Apex VS-5RS. Got 295/35/18 RE-71RS on them which have been amazing on the track, but not great at roll races lol. They just don’t get hot enough. I only wish they came with a taller sidewall for 18” wheels for better fitment.

My only issue with the wheels is that they’re a bitch and a half to keep clean, even though I ceramic coated them. Only reason I ever considered TE’s is because of how much easier they are to clean, lol.

Next up are some drag wheels. I just don’t like how many of them look. Only ones I think look good are the Forgeline ones that P2uned use, but at $2k per wheel, it’s been difficult to pull the trigger without getting massive buyer’s remorse.

I have 19X9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +35 wheels that I need tires for.

I'm thinking about using the stock 275s and mounting them to my new front wheels, and getting 305/30/19 Continentals for the new rears? Any reason why I would want to go 295 over the 305? Seems like a lot of people who go 305 are on 11" wheels.

Will I rub if I am lowered? The continental tires do seem a little more "poke" compared to the Pilot Sports

Finally installed the wheels today. They are typical Supra spec +22 +35..running 265/305. Although I noticed they have a slight poke. Anywho I’m very pleased with the look. The oem wheels made the car too dark. I wanted to break the darkness a bit.
