What kind of oil temps are you seeing?
125-135C (257-275F) usually. But went 2 times up to 150C (300F) yesterday and I'm kidna worried. I backed up instantly, was 30 degrees + no place to coolodown but still...
Well I plan to tune, aero, coils etc and race it more so I dont want the engine to die :<

A good track alignment usually does the trick for me. Negative camber ofc, toe in in the back and slight toe out up front (the latter you won’t do until you become very comfortable on track). Also you have more “wiggle” room doing HPDE at a larger track. Whenever you apply the brakes you become front end loaded and the back end looses grip. Braking in a straight line or braking less when the wheel is turned will also help. So I’d slow down and brake less when the wheel is turned. When you feel that back end starting to come out, that is your sweet spot. You either have to turn the wheel less or brake less at that point.

You may be describing something totally different than the basic concept I’m describing. You were cooking pretty good in that short video and our cars build up speed so quickly. My hope is, it’s that simple :)
hey thanks for speaking this out. this is what I was looking for the car rotate during the turn which helps the front end turning. in the stock setting the car hardly rotate in an amateurs hand and thats what im struggling with.

That's definitely not how I'd describe these cars. ?
lol let me rephrase this: in a stock 2.0 L supra it is much harder to rotate on the stock suspension comparing to the one with adjusted camber and tow angle. how about this?

Maybe the 2.0's come with better alignments or something. I remember my 3.0L stock wanted to kill me at any opportunity until I gave it a proper alignment.

same feeling. with stock camber angle there is a very narrow range of rotating vs overdrifting maybe Kaj is a pro driver and can master the throttle much better.

I’m just confused at this point.
lol my guess is Kaj thinks rotating a supra without losing control on the rear is relative easy but I think it is hard at least with stock suspension setup. at least with my entry level driving skills.
@kaj it would be more persuasive if you can post your throttle graphs so that me and @razorlab can learn about how to rotate the car.

lol please discard my replies and not continue this discussion, I guess with proper throttle and steering inputs one can always rotate the a supra. feels like this really differ from every driver and their driving styles.

I think we're confused because these cars love getting sideways off throttle, on throttle, and if carrying too much speed through high speed turns.
I have video from yesterday showing me correcting the car for an entire lap.
We're wondering how you keep yours so stable. ?

Mine is setup very stable now and you have to do something pretty dumb to loop it. I don’t like oversteery cars. Stock was a completely different story.

Can I still get it to oversteer how it’s currently setup if I wanted to? Absolutely.

I'm all stock with a bit of front camber added and zero toe up front. I haven't had to touch any parts on the rear yet, so whatever it comes from Toyota with. The car likes to get out of shape, but not to the point where I feel threatened; it goes right back when I tell it. Still, I know I'm losing time :(
Here's a couple videos that show how much I have to *actively* drive the car LOL:
Kinda busy:

How most of my sessions go. Fun, but not that fastest:
