So the main radiator yes? Would combining heat exchanger + radiator upgrade + vented hood help with oil/water temps? I have an option to get CSF HX + PWR rad on a good price.
Sure, if you can find radiators/heat exchangers that are better than stock. CSF ain't it.

Problem with the stackers is they are not ideal for working on your car. You can get underneath obviously, but all the wheels are sitting on the lift and no easy way to work on brakes and consumables. .02
not true I have a stacker with two hydraulic sliding jacks that span inner part of the lift. Drive on slide them in place jack up and all four wheels off np at any height you want. I have a 13 ft ceiling in my garage lift sits in 3rd bay and I store a car under Np

Okay makes sense, and the t-stat is set to 230f right?

Thanks for the link to the fittings!
Yup!

On the race cars we used to bypass the thermostat and temps would be stable during a race, definitely not recommended for street cars… especially in colder climates for obvious reasons.

Edit:
@razorlab I forgot to mention… if you’re going to attempt this retrofit, you also need to order the complete oil filter housing and the thermostat unit.

Yea I won't be anytime soon. Highest oil temps I saw this season where 276F but usually under 250F

U have any cooling upgrs except for wagner manifold?
Not currently.

One thing to keep in mind is I did my build this year based on efficiency for this very reason.

Manifold intercooler + larger turbo and not running a ton of boost though it + E40 = more efficiency = less heat.

This is definitely not my first rodeo with tracking turbocharged cars.

CSF isn't better than stock? Can you elaborate? I had great success with them on my GTI with a 600whp setup.

Following the oil cooler shenanigans; my car desperately needs one. I hit 300*F+ every single session last weekend, including one in 75F weather. Didn't take many laps around 1:25 each to do so, either. AMS Intake mani, CSF main HX, aux rads, and trans cooler. 5w-40 oil. Stock tune/turbo. You tell me to put the stock stuff back on for better oil/IAT temps I'll do it this weekend lol

Driving the hell out of the car for long 15-20 minute HPDE sessions with a quick time for the record, not a "hit it and quit it" lap attack day. Only breaks are when I'm stuck behind traffic. That said, again, still only took a few laps to get around 290. I can post a vid later.

That seems odd that you are hitting 300F in every session in 75F ambient. Especially with stock tune. Do you have logs? Did you do the proper bleeding procedures for both high temp and low temp cooling circuits?

Yeah I should have logs. I was running the RaceCapture this weekend. I don't know about "proper," but I did use a vacuum bleeder for both circuits.

You should def do the procedures just to make sure. Here you go:

High temp:

Low temp:

Just to add this is the the same experience for me. I do not have logs but have been watching the readings on the gauges on track and hit within the 280 to 300f mark within 2-3 laps. Starting ambient is around 90f for me. I do not think it is a bleeding thing but thanks for the official procedure. Mine recovers very quickly once you are off full boost. I have no tune/ stock turbo. So if someone does figure out that it is air in the system that would be helpful.

CSF exchangers/radiators as well right? I rest my case ;)
