Got it, thanks. The problem is finding good 18×11 wheels — Konig, Apex, or Protrack. Rays are almost impossible to get in 18×11 with 5x112.
295/30 CRS on a 10.5 looks a bit pinched.
I use the Konigs because they are cheap and work well. Visually might not be everyones pick and I understand.

They're 19.6lbs each, which is almost as light as the similarly sized Apex VS-5RS (19.2lbs) that i just ordered despite being half the price. That's a steal.

I don't think they're going to win any beauty contests, but they're not ugly either. That said, imo you chose the worst color....silver/black combo

They only come in that color combo for our platform. At first I didn't like them either but I think they look good on the supra now.

The lip is the nicest part IMHO.

I've been running 295/30 on a 10.5 TE37 and it's been fine.

I damaged one of my wheels so i have a set of Apex 18x11 on the way (10 month wait for a replacement). What makes you think they're hard to get? Is it because you're only shopping locally? Apex ship worldwide.
Originally, I planned to order CE28s in 18x11, which are the only ones available in 5x112, but after talking with the japanese, they told me that production has been discontinued.
I still have two sets of Protrack wheels, but they’re 10.5.

I think the Hypergram is an excellent price-to-quality compromise.
They’re missing another color option in these specs.

That car looking shinny despite the track beating is puzzling. Mine looks like it was dug out of a coal mine after the first 20 min of HPDE.

It's disheartening to see ones car get beat up like that. I was just at Pitt race and my front end got annihilated with rock chips. It was chip free before the event - with only 3k miles on it! Should have PPF'd the front but I don't know if it's worth $2k. I'll get over it.

Has any one checked out these wheels? Great price for fully forged. 18x11 et40. They look great too.

Yeah definitely sucks to see the car like that after an event. It's a perpetual cycle of me trying to clean off all the rubber marks just to add more at the next event 🙁

I've looked at those for next season since I want to size up in tires but the price is too good for the Hypergrams. Also looks like the weight difference isn't much either and I wont feel as bad if something happens to them or if I don't clean them after an event.

The cost to get PPF is more than the cost of a paint respray. I tend to get touch up paint for the worst chips, but accept the rest. If it gets awful and it's on a car that matters I'll get it resprayed if I care enough.

For wheel color, it's not super expensive to get them powder coated by a third party.

IMO ppf is worth it. You can get the important bits (Front, headlights, rocker/bottom of door) done for ~2500. Is that more than painting all that? Probably close. The difference is the PPF will 'heal' repeatedly. Where you have to wait for enough chips to accumulate to make repainting worth it, the PPF stays looking good. Then after you repaint, you just get chips again. It's also easier to clean. You can go to town cleaning up rubber marks without worrying about damaging paint.

What do you think are the most effective cooling fender vents? I’m choosing between the Sayber Attack7 and the Verus fender vent kit

Cost effective? Those are very far from cost effective. I have nice expensive CF vents, but if you want something cost effective, you get something like these:

Edit: no idea why I read that as "cost effective"
