I never did an update on the power the car has/had been making and since I recently had some changes done, it feels like a good time.

Originally I had an E30 tune that was right about 500whp and low torque, all by design. You can see the post about that right here: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/razorlab-2020-le-build-thread.12426/page-6#post-275395

Shortly after that I requested some timing taken out and a little more boost added low/mid range so it ended up making less horsepower but a little more torque. I have been tracking on that tune ever since. You can see that tune as the green plots below.

I got pretty used to the power so I requested a second map with some more boost as I felt like the car could handle it without being a handful on track (we'll see if I was correct). I also run the car on E40 now, instead of E30 as the mix is much easier for me to manage.

Well, now the car is making a good amount more power and I look forward to seeing how it behaves on track. I'm making sure to bring an extra pair of underwear with me next event! It for sure is way more powerful just on the street. I also flashed my transmission with xHP at the same time.

Green plot= what I have been tracking on since April. This was good for an 11mph increase on the straights at both Lime Rock and Palmer.
Red plot= added boost and on map switch #2 so I can switch between if needed.

That’s insane! And you’re already at a 11 mph gain on the green plot ??!? Damn son!!!!!

Forget the underwear and just bring some diapers for that red map ?
(he’s doing this without overheating folks!!!)

After you’re done with complete testing, how much do you charge to do this to my car in FloRida? I’ll take the same setup pluuuusssseeeeee ?

Another great track day at Lime Rock. Absolutely been spoiled this summer in the North East as far as weather. Mid 80's but humid, still not bad for the middle of August.

No PB's but I had fun with some Caterhams...

Love watching your vids! Fantastic track, weather & driving ? Our HPDE 4 is similar. Don’t need point by’s thank goodness. Those little cars (if arms strapped in) can’t give a point by or are hard to see it. So I love how you just took it. Safely, quickly, and deliberately. Well done ??

Almost forgot about your build ? How’s the temps holding up with the extra power? Do you attribute the manifold the most for bringing your temps down? Allowing you to drive all day w/out codes or heat soak.

99% of the groups here are mandatory point by groups. Usually open passing is only with the private track days.

Hard to see in that video but they both pointed me by. First one did it were I could barely see it, through the cabin to the passenger side. Second one does it over the roll cage.

No power loss so far but we also haven’t had any extremely hot track days this summer. I think the highest has been around 88*F.

So this is a perfect example of “there is always someone faster” and sometimes, not at all what you would think.

Lime Rock leaderboard.

The Porsche GT3RS in 2nd here I was getting very close to beating but then he showed up on slicks and went 1.5 seconds faster.

The GT3RS in 3rd just popped on the leaderboard out of the blue and I’m not sure what mods and tires.

Then a Miata comes and annihilates all of us, lmao. I believe this is an unlimited time attack car that was practicing for GridLife this coming weekend.

Either way, I am mixing it up with some serious machinery so still happy.

Found these on sale at Turner for $330. Bearings preinstalled in the arms which was a "can't say no to" sale so they showed up today... I feel like I stole it from them, what a deal. I can't even buy the arms themselves for less than that.
