Not a Corvette.
Yeah, same here. Never a problem with my armytrix for 25k miles while locked, got unlocked and within the first 500 miles it threw the code. I can't turn off catalyst monitoring since that is the one system that cant show as "not available" to pass emissions.
You won't pass with a CEL from no cat anyway, so why not turn it off for when you have the DP on?

Just ordered this is convert my BMS Flex Fuel into canbus (ECA). Goal is for a custom flex fuel tune: https://burgertuning.com/products/b...eH3iTqtf4b7bSQJS89CeMn&variant=45995176919214
I went to install the canbus harness and there isn’t a 12v source near the DME that I know of for power and I don’t feel like extending the wire to reach the fuse box. So I ended up ordering this Universal accessory harness to make it work. I’ll finally be able to get tuned for flex fuel 🛢https://burgertuning.com/products/b...xkYnXmagxbemyXgCFMr6CK266D3fjtud9C4ILN67YdJ0q

This makes 0 sense. The universal power harness, which I use, comes off the ECU and is shown in the video in the link. You can directly tap this without the harness and do the exact same thing. Obviously the harness makes it plug and play and also easily reversible without anything exposed.
Saying there isn’t a 12v source near the ECU with a video showing there is, kind of making things up…… it’s literally in the video…
Now, if you want to say this makes hooking it up easier/cleaner, sure, as I stated above.

I've had the armytrix catless DP on for 8k miles (unlocked) and never had a code. Did turn off cold start from the get go.

You ain’t wrong my boy. I am aware of that 12v harness but I assumed I couldn’t tap into that wire for some reason so I opted for the plug and play harness for a cleaner look.

I just installed the Burger Tuning BMS Universal CANflex CANbus E85 Analyzer (ECA). It's not listed in the CANBUS ECA Preset. Which one do I choose?

The proper settings for the BMS Canflex/Canbus is MHD F (0xEC) and Zeitronix ECA in MHD.

Tuner locked in! I'm going to be using (Chris) CD919 on instagram. Just got my base map but won't be able to log until late tomorrow. I'm tired of these dam throttle closures! Stay Tuned - pun intended!

Yeah. Its a catless with a built in defouler which shouldn't throw a code.
Late to this one, but I have the same downpipe and it sometimes throws a CEL when I get on the gas too hard before the car is properly warmed up (4 ticks on the right temperature gauge). Probably happened 6-8 total times since install over a year ago. Assuming yours was having the same issue just remember to let it warm all the way up before you give it any gas. Have never seen the CEL come on under any other circumstance in 10K+ miles with the downpipe.

True story! Warm up is key.

3.5 years and around 15k miles later I’m finally changing out the gear oil and plug.
