Wow, so how come you didn't get it? Just wondering.
Honestly im torn with the fake vents. Im looking for a way to open them up myself before i buy. Also probably going to buy a door garnish for the door vents to hide that since it will be to hard to open. Also im looking for a silver one. How do you like it so far?

Oh I see. But I'm pretty sure it'll be hard to make the vents functional. There's a youtuber name Jackie Ding who tracks his Supra regularly. He went over the vents and basically said it's not worth the hassle and probably wont provide any noticable benefits but hey, I'm no engineering expert.

So far I like it. IMO there's too much body roll but I suppose that's the compromise between having something comfortable and sporty. I'm still contemplating in a set of H&R springs but for now I still want to enjoy the car stock.

I just cant see why they made fake vents for a 55k plus car. If im spending that much I want everything to be functional. Fake stuff for cosmetic reasons on a car bother me.

H&R springs will make it look just right. Also powder coat the wheels satin black and maybe wheel spacers :) great looking car though. Have you drove a 370z before? I was hoping the supra had better cornering then the z. I liked the z how it cornered.

Never drove a Z car but I do have a 2019 Camaro zl1 1le. All of those exterior parts and vents are all functional and the car handles extremely well but it's very bumpy though. Supra is more playful and the z1le is more raw.

Anyway. I hope you find what you're looking for. I don't want to take the thread too off topic here. Lol.

So i'm looking through this thread and was wondering why is everyone's stated MSRP so high? On the US Toyota website, a premium with drive assist package + CF mirrors is only $56,610 or 55,685 without the mirrors

Dealers always add more to the car before it arrives or they are sent one with more options. The 56,610 premium with the mirrors let go off that. So... they add Accessories ontop of that like a clear bra apx 500 front bumper i think. Emergency kit 50, wheel lock 50, film protection door cups and hood 385, cargo mat 80, cargo tote 49 medical kil 30. So now add all those up now that bring your total msrp to 57,754. Oh and dont get me started with dealer addons. Tinted windows 500 plus and sealajet or however you call it 999. That just brings the total even higher.

I was able to pickup a red 2020 premium fully loaded for 48.5 and financed it for 53469 apx. With the dealer addons also. Just told them i dont want or need your tint so i negotiated it.

So when people say the MSRP on this thread they actually mean the dealer's sale price? Because from my understanding your car + accessories you can add on from the website is the actual MSRP.

anything extra is MSRP + dealer's theft tax which may or may not include addons. Thats why while shopiing right now i always say, I dont care about what the stated MSRP is I want to know what your sale price to me will be. Because i noticed dealers will give me the MSRP price then later in the conversation mention a dealer adjustment, thus wasting my time.

MSRP is the price on the window sticker. Anything added is not MSRP.

MSRP stands for Manufactured Suggested retail price. It's what Toyota recommends you sell the vehicle for.

INVOICE is what the dealer paya for the car. But salesmen will show you a INVOICE but sometimes its a fake one or they try and trick you. You need to find out the real INVOICE and work a deal from there.

Lets go back to MSRP. Its all the stuff the manufacturer options offer that includes shipping fee and i think advertising fee. Not 100 percent on the advertising fee but i belive its all included into the msrp or the dealers invoice when they buy the car from the manufacturer. When the car gets to the dealer they seem to always add addons like lift kits tires tint ect... you can always negotiate those pricea because they always price them so HIGH.

So no MSRP doesnt included dealer addons. The sheet will say MSRP with all the accessories from the manufacturer = x amount. Then you will see addon below that then the total asking price. Makes sense?

A key note also is lets say you find a supra and its invoice price is 53k and you offer to pay them 54k so 1k over invoice. Toyota is offering a 3500 rebate so technically you can ask to pay 50,500 since the rebate will bring it below invoice. Hope this helps. There also a bunch of other things you can save money on if you know what to look for.

oh i knew all that, i guess i was just calling the invoice price the sale price this time around while car shopping. Thanks for the clarification tho.

I think I was just tripped up by the person that said his MSRP was in the 58k range a few comments ago which is higher than the most speced out premium model directly from toyota

To find a premium at msrp of 58k would be not likely unless its the launch edition
