Anyone else use steel brake lines on their track cars? I ordered mine from Turner (easy to find and in stock).

Stainless Steel Brake Lines for BMW A90 MKV Supra B58 3.0L | Turner Motorsport

My old race shop that retired, Sick Sideways, swore by them. But they raced professionally and I just drive for fun :p. Sebring is a brutal track and typically under extreme heat conditions. Hence lots of companies test down here... Curious if any of you have experienced a better pedal feel after putting them on your Supra. I sure did with my MX5 and the Porsche kids claimed the same. Not to mention someone always had a track story about expansion with standard line sets.

I've always run these types of setups on my autocross/track cars to good effect. Not specific to the Supra, though, but I can't imagine the results would be any different. Which part #'s have you ordered specifically for your car? Looking to replace pads and use a high temp brake fluid and may be an opportune time to do it all at once.

I got the Turner front & rear set: Part#: 007372LAFRKT. Either line set they sell should be good. And doing the same as you. Getting it all done at once. Then I can just bleed and add fluid as needed.

Hey did you ever install these? I am in the process of installing now and had a question on the rears. Fronts went on just fine no sweat, but have a look at my rear install and comparison of the rear lines.

Does your install look similar? I noticed that the caliper end is much longer on the Turner lines. Makes me nervous to have threads showing but with a compression line fit I guess its ok? At rest its not leaking, but wanted to confirm before buttoning everything up.

I just dropped mine off today for my remaining SPL parts, pads, fluid & the steel brake lines. When I get it back, I'll try and get my camera back there for some pics. I'll also ask the shop owner if he had any trouble or advice for the rear set. I'm not sure how they compare to the OEM. Extended that way for clearance or another reason?

Thats odd, my stock hose bolt head fit flush with the caliper in the rears. My car is a 22 maybe they changed something? I do like the added clearance the extendo bolt allows, makes it WAY easier to get a wrench in there.

Check my pic, thats def not the same end as soon in your photo. I imagine everything will be fine, but that is definitely odd lol.

Yea probably just a part change. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Here is another caliper image, this is more in-line with your experience:

What are your opinions on the Endless Brake Lines vs Turners - I had turners on my bmws before - and a master cylinder brace (?). Thanks!

OEM are already basically SS with rubber cover. Save your money.
I didn’t know that and changed mine with Turner (any brand will do) when I first got her 😂
