You need to contact your dealer and Toyota in your country.

They are avoiding this issue hoping it is swept under the carpet.

Good luck.
Damn man I'm going to contact them I just hope they don't make it sound like it's all caus of my mods.

BMW M series cars have a feature where the car won’t let you go past a certain rev limit until the cars engine is at proper temperatures. I’m assuming they used the same technology on these cars. The reason this is a feature is so people can get in their car and drive and not have to warm it up. I think that due to your below freezing temperatures, this is what you’re experiencing.
Actually even a Honda Fit has this feature. It's common on fuel injected cars...since like 30 - 35 years ago (?)

I know one other guy was having massive ECU issues and having a similar problem, but many super and even sports cars are rev limited to 3k in order to protect the engine. These are machines at the end of the day, they can break. This seems more like a feature when it's too cold in order to protect the engine. Wish BMW or Toyota could give more insight

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and I just had a few concerns and I think this is the right place to ask them. Im from Calgary, Canada and right now it's -33 degrees Celsius /-27 degree Fahrenheit. I have a 2021 Supra 3.0 that's been tuned and has an air intake, downpipe and exhaust. Recently I turned my car on in the garage (non heated) and left it on idle for about 5 minutes and tried to do a baby rev just to check and my car wouldnt rev. The engine was still cold (one bar), has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried? Is this supposed to happen?
I'm open to all suggestions, sorry for the long post. Thanks guys!

Turn traction completely off and put it sports mode. It will rev up
