Well... there we go!That is because it is stock ?
Wait, why is it only peaking at 12.5 psi then? That is because it is stock ?
Normal, my MT does too on Map 0 (stock). I'm telling you man, these MTs are calibrated differently lolWait, why is it only peaking at 12.5 psi then?
Wut. Even my 2020 hit 19 psi peak.Normal, my MT does too on Map 0 (stock). I'm telling you man, these MTs are calibrated differently lol
It depends on IATs, but yeah under 100 IAT, my car will read ecu_psi as 11-13. At IATs >120, it can get into 14-16 psi and runs lower timing. Stock map, tuned maps, whatever.Wut. Even my 2020 hit 19 psi peak.
I see nothing in the ECU that would be different, but I have to admit I haven't done a deep dive into the related tables that BM3 keeps under expanded arrows.
The 2020 requested load/torque is different than 21+, but roms 21+ are the same. As well as the feed forward (base WGDC) and PID tables. It depends on IATs, but yeah under 100 IAT, my car will read ecu_psi as 11-13. At IATs >120, it can get into 14-16 psi and runs lower timing. boost comes up a bit at 5k rpm and tapers off after 6. 2020 boost curve is a lot different, tapers off at 5k quickly. I'm sure it varies in different conditions, but that is what I usually see
Alrighty, got 2 logs in. Map 1, with the duty cycles you previously gave me. Hope I did it right this time? That is because it is stock ?
@Eastwood , you can stay on Map 1. Duty bias affects all maps. Since you don't have any Map 6 boost targets loaded, and you switched to Map 6, it is just stock.
can confirm, here's a log from over the winter. dme_bt targets are in the low teens and peaks in the ~13 psi range when iats are low. makes sense, if knock is unlikely, the dme will meet the requested torque with more timing and less boost to optimize fuel economy. It depends on IATs, but yeah under 100 IAT, my car will read ecu_psi as 11-13.
Gonna have to drop FF until throttle clears up. MTs typically end up near 15-25. Send me a PM with your next log at FF=25Alrighty, got 2 logs in. Map 1, with the duty cycles you previously gave me. Hope I did it right this time?

For the future, I know some “tuning guides” state that the DME uses timing to meet requested torque when IAT’s are lower but that actually isn’t 100% true. In stock tune trim, the ignition maps are pretty aggressive and so is the IAT timing reduction. So when the IAT’s are cooler it basically uses way less IAT timing reduction. It’s not actually calculating more timing to meet the torque request, it’s just using less timing reduction.can confirm, here's a log from over the winter. dme_bt targets are in the low teens and peaks in the ~13 psi range when iats are low. makes sense, if knock is unlikely, the dme will meet the requested torque with more timing and less boost to optimize fuel economy.
@ColonelAdamaI have been reading your sub for a long time and finally took some logs. My car is on e30-40 ish and to me my trims and afr look super weird. I am struggling to find an answer if theyare safe or not. This is map5
CT’s catless dp
Valvetronic exhaust
Armaspeed intake
I am wanting to do a custom Map 6 but with these trims and afrs I’m afraid to mess with anything.
thank you so much for any help!!
log one is 3-5 normal pull

long 2 is after I put a gallon of 93 in it to see if that would lower trims.

The car is quick and rather smooth. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
