more good news coming for MT guys. Last update was an "mt mode" to purposely underboost.

newest additive mode testing says no underboost needed. Huge re-vamp to how it works. Updates soon!

Tested on my own car this AM. V28 Hype is real, no stutters at all. And no underboosting. Will get more proper logs with TC off later (dip at start of pull). JB4 PID is essentially off and the algorithm for WGDC is completely different for additive now. WGDC is pretty much a function of ecu_psi only. Simplification is sometimes the solution.

Is mt mode for map 6? I’m in hawaii with 92 octane and it didn’t like map 1 so i turned it off and haven’t used it since. not super familiar with using it
Honestly I'd just jump to the current V28 T1 firmware (alpha P158) if you had issues on map1. It works better than the "MT mode" workaround. Already sorted mine and another guys MT in like 2 revisions and a single day lol. Basically the MT mode will probably be obsolete since the entire additive boost mode was modified to accommodate our cars.

Post a log though so I can verify

@ColonelAdama Here is my logs. FYI its 42 degrees out, and 6000ft above sea level. I did a 3rd gear pull, and also a 2nd and 3rd pull. What are your thoughts? AFR seems way too high imo. show 15 at full pull, but should be like 11.5? but that might be my oldschool turbo tuning brain working, and not direct inject cars

mid 14s is normal at WOT. Direct injection and relatively low boost levels. That's why JB4 pairs well with ethanol, since it runs leaner (and hotter) on a locked DME.

Log looks normal.

Awesome, i was thinking of teasing map 2 and just staying there. We only get 91 at our altitude (because we dont need 93 up here). I believe map 2 could still be safe. Would you recommend any changes if i go to map2?

Need to see all ignition timing (all cylinders) on the graph for map 1 first

JB4 has no control over fueling, hence what you are seeing.

For DI, mid to low 12's are usually what are targeted when doing a proper tune. So yea, not mid to low 11's like older PI cars.

Interesting! My JB4 has the fuel pressure connector so i wasnt sure if it did anything. Its plugged in on my car at the moment

@ColonelAdama can speak more to that but I believe that is more for fuel trim tweaking so the DME doesn't max out it's fuel trims when running Ethanol.

I added all ign cylinders to these pictures

Timing is already being pulled so no point in exceeding Map 1. Yeah the FP upgrade just raises rail pressure a little so trims stay under control when you blend ethanol. which I would recommend if you want more substantial gains.
