Yes, i used wgdc to mean wastegate control (in general). This would also apply to constant-leakage manual boost controllers compared to ball-spring MBCs.

With JB4 sure, with DME tuning, not at all. Literally what PID is for. Some throttle cut is always necessary since it's trying to spool up as quickly as possible and then "catch" the overboost.

E35 is ideal for most power but E40 can work on some cars.Hi all! What level of E could I run with the JB4 Fuel Pressure upgrade kit?
Ok thanks, car is about to get stored for the winter, will probably fit the FP upgrade next spring. I guess it would also help lower the fuel trims because they are a bit on the high side in my logs so farE35 is ideal for most power but E40 can work on some cars.
few corrections, nothing major. can add a little more E. trims are fineEvening everyone!
Ive got a log of map 6 if I could get some opinions please. I honestly expected the car to pull harder compared to map 2 but I couldn't tell a huge difference. Is it pulling too much timing? Thank you for all the help guys.

I run ~E40 without issues, but it did take Jesse and I several revisions to get it fully smooth (part of that is also because of the scorching IAT's thanks to the Florida heat, though.)Hi all! What level of E could I run with the JB4 Fuel Pressure upgrade kit?
Thanks for the input, really good to know. Heat isn’t a problem up here, might make it easier to dial in lol! Did you test your 1/4 mile time with your setup?I run ~E40 without issues, but it did take Jesse and I several revisions to get it fully smooth (part of that is also because of the scorching IAT's thanks to the Florida heat, though.)
Haven't had time to go to the strip or get any runs in since getting the revised E40 map done, sadly. Nearest 1/4 strip that's open on weekends is almost 2 hours away in Orlando which sucks (Bradenton strip doesn't do test n tune / open drag days on weekends and I'm not interested in an hour drive 1-way on a work night to go there)Thanks for the input, really good to know. Both look fine to me. If you have a dragy or something you can verify which is faster. Map 6 is only 1 psi more so it shouldn't be anything drastic anyway.Howdy guys!
Can someone ELI5 this log for me please? I was in map6 and car felt down on power so switched to map2 and was noticeably faster. I have the same tank of fuel as the earlier logs of this thread so why the big change? Thank you for taking the time out of your day to help a noob like me I want to understand fully but am having a hard time. You guys are awesome and I so appreciate this entire thread!
