Not the most scientific comparison video but whatever.

Pretty reasonable review (except at the start when talking about the appearance of the M2 and Nissan lol). I still maintain that going from Supra to M2 isnāt so much an upgrade as it is a shift or lateral move. You gain some, you lose some, you look like a Lego man driving your Lego car, etc. Comes a bit down to preferences and needs.

I feel like the Supras interior is nice enough. Simple and driver focused. When I step in my wifeās GV80 I must admit I am pretty envious though (freakin Genesis is such a damn good value). This video is definitely in a good placeā¦ refined, a step up from some of the others. However, I disagree with his assessment that the interior of the Supra has cheap plastic. Maybe itās just me and Iāll notice it during my morning commute. Then it will bother the shit out of me. I find it odd he left out the comparison of road and/or rattling noise(s) between the car. I didnāt notice road noise so much in the Supra or M2 but did notice it in the Z. I know there are some rattles in the Supra though so it could have been his camera/microphone setup in the Z.
I think the rear end of the Z is fantastic. That dang front end fish tank grill and Cover Girl eyelashes headlights just kill me. Someone will (or probably has) a great body kit that makes the Z looks marvelous.hereās one
Having sat in all three, the interiors are easily Z < Supra < M2. As soon as you sit in the M2 you can feel the extra dollars everywhere. Where the Supra punches above its weight, I think the Z punches well below and is the most overated car on the market. I'd be looking at a Type R or Golf R well before I'd consider a Z.However, I disagree with his assessment that the interior of the Supra has cheap plastic.
I have seen them out in the wild......... Because their launch or whatever was here in Vegas. So for like a week we seen them all around the Valley of Fire route, with YouTubers singing their praises. Otherwise my fiancĆ© seen one at her work (casino) parking garage. And it's not really hard to understand why... last numbers showed them around 728 total units sold.I havenāt seen a Z in Cincinnati yet either. I wonder if they really exist!
The main reason here down under in Australia is Nissan drip feeding with supply. Nissan stopped taking orders for Coupe since July 2022 as theyāve reached the production capacity, we have customers waiting for their order for over 1.5 years and still not built or shipped yet. Those whoāve managed to order before the preorder window closed back in July 2022 were told the ETA is end of 2023. Nissan is just not making them, I guess thereās more money in Qashqai then Z. Iāve preordered back in January 2022 and only received it couple of weeks agoā¦ one of the lucky ones here in Australia. Not sure about rest of the global market.Honestly looks wise it's not the worst. If you liked n bought 350z 370z then this to me is an upgrade. Even got used to boxy front..
I'm not checking the sister Z forum as much so I don't really know why numbers are so low. Doesn't really make sense.. I guess people skip over it and either buy 86 or Supra? Now I'm curious.
Stop sale in Aug '22 for AT. Low production numbers. Unaware dealers. High interest rates...
