exactly, 2000GT was already revived with the LFA.I always assumed the 2000GT sat higher than supra in hierachy, and that the LFA was a true 2000GT successor.
both were designed to compete with porsche/supercars
both were called "outlandishly expensive" and "no-one would pay this for a toyota/lexus"
supra was envisaged to take on the local sports cars, like GT-R/NSX/RX7 etc...
